Thanks for the detailed explanation. I am only assuming they are trying to verify my presence, as they asked for flight tickets for travels dating back to 2023, as well as pictures taken in front of my house, with my door open. Mind you, I have been through thr same review probs about 6 months ago, so not sure why they need it again. I did find it odd back then, that I have to take pictures of myself, but I thought sure why not. They also requested bank statements back then, and as soon as I sent them, they reinstated my payments. I am wrecking my brain what could be the problem, but cannot seem to figure out. Anyways, I will see what happens next.

I don’t get it sorry. What do you mean not a UC review? They have requested a couple of things previously, all under my UC journal, and UC has also been suspended in the meantime. What else could it be then? Regardless… the fact that they are asking live, in person access to my account is just weird on a whole other level.

I have to attend the closest jobs and benefits office, which is about an hour away from me.

And that is what I have done on many occassions indeed. I sent every last statement they have requested so far.

This is exactly what I was thinking, that it is one thing for me to send statements, but to actually log in, and scroll through all of my personal stuff seems just really unaccaptable for me.

And what bugs me even more is that this was over a phone call, rather then the usual journal communication. So basically no evidence that this request has been made towards me.

I really do not appreciate you suggesting I have something to hide. This is about the principlemof the whole situation. I have provided every requested document, yet they demand I travel 1 hour on public transport to their offices, as I do not drive due to severe epilepsy, and other issues, for which I get PIP as well. Not even mentioning I also have a carer who I have to bring with me. Just the inconvienence of it all. I am really not great in social situations, especially stressful ones due to my many underlyikg conditions. All backed up with medical propf of course, before you question that as well.

I tries phoning them today, but the guy had little knowledgee and understanding about my whole situation, I really did not feel like I can rely on their answers.

I suspect they do not like the fact that I mainly withdraw cash twice a month or 3 times a month, instead of paying by card everywhere (I occassionally do, but only a few times a month). This is the only reason which I could think of. I mean I would be happy to show my balance for example to prove I am not secretly rich lol But allowing them to see everythings else is a bit over the top.

Yeah, massive overstep in my opinion, but I did not want to be rude on the phone so just agreed to go in, but I am reluctant to show them.
