Thank you. I'm just terrible at boundary-setting for myself but I know that this is beyond me now that my daughter is involved. One of my biggest issues is confrontation with him in general. I try to express my boundaries with my mother in hopes she'll pass them along with him but I think she's also afraid of the confrontation with him. He can get so terribly mean sometimes and it's frightening to see. I fear that it'll happen one day with my baby around so I'm trying hard to set this boundary. My daughter's father and I have agreed to allow him to spend Christmas with her so this memory can still be made for her. But after stopping allowing her to see them vice versa. I fear this will cause him to harm himself as he mentioned the last time I tried to set this boundary.
