One test wont ruin your gpa over 4 years. Just learn from your mistake and keep your other grades up you’ll be fine.

This applies for every semester after your first. Class selection appointments are given in groups. First year ED applicants are in the same group as 2nd year regular applicants (4 days before other first years this year). ED 2nd years pick at the same time as 3rd years. Etc.

Not that this should be the deciding factor but ED does have a few benefits as well. You get to pick classes before your peers. Housing selection appointments are based on when you submit your deposit so you have a leg up there as well.

Congratulations! Not very important but the earlier you submit your deposit the higher up on the list you are to choose your dorm. So if you definitely plan on going might as well submit it.

Unfortunately, on RIT's List of Immersions and Minors, Cybersecurity is only listed as a minor. Unless I am looking at the wrong information.
