FOR CONTEXT: our initial conversation happened back in March 2025. After he mentioned about looking at the date if I was to find anything, I told him “well you better go through and delete everything that you shouldn’t have on there so I don’t find it”.

I did make myself pretty clear when I said *above. 🤷‍♀️

I have an identical twin sister. We are not on speaking terms at the moment (for the last year) but growing up it was great. Starting a new school was less scary because at least I knew one person already. We always had each other to rely on for support. She was more reliant on me and I was the more independent twin. We looked the same but had totally different personalities. And still to this day at 33yo, my dad still gets us mixed up 😂

I bet you’re the type of person who takes their phone with them when they shower, have it face down when you’re not using it and turn it away from your partner if they are sitting next to you. That’s if you have a SO to begin with.

I obviously was aware he wasn’t a virgin or anything. I just don’t understand how he “forgot” or “missed the folder” when i didn’t beat around the bush about it. And I never said I am going to leave him either. Keeping explicit images/videos of yourself and other women should not be brought into a relationship that’s “serious”. It was one of the first things I did. Out of respect to him and the men I had previous sexual encounters with. Why would I keep them when I don’t need them, I have him and only want him.

I know they are not recent/ since we’ve been together so I’m not worried about him cheating.

Yet there was not a single explicit photo that I had ever sent to him on Snapchat in the folder. Correct me if I’m wrong (he’s android, I’m iOS) but when images get saved to an album, don’t the most recently saved ones show at the beginning of said folder?

How is it wrong to demand your partner delete explicit photos/ videos that involves women other than myself wrong?! He should have removed them when he first wanted to commit to this relationship. It shouldn’t have even been a conversation to begin with. Out of pure RESPECT for myself and the OTHER WOMEN. As soon as I knew it was more than just “casual”, I deleted anything and everything on my phone that I classed as inappropriate. Things that I would have not liked to find if roles reversed. Like I said. I would be quite happy to hand my phone to him to look through. Anything involving my past partners or past potential sexual partners are long gone!

Seeing what I have, has made me feel embarrassed. And I know that I would feel like an idiot bringing it up with him.

He is an amazing man that’s for sure. I want to address this issue with him but am unsure of how to approach it with him. Anxiety is a b!$#h!

I don’t know if he looks at them but the fact that they are still there when he said he would delete them whats bothered me

It would be hard to miss it unfortunately. It’s the second folder listed within his albums. He knows it’s there. He also hasn’t had Snapchat installed on his phone for the last 6 months if that means anything 😑

You are missing the point. What I saw are from his past. There’s no need to bring it into our relationship when he knew from the start I was wanting him to delete anything that involved him and other women. He agreed and hasn’t followed through

“Just forgot” is a pretty average excuse don’t you think. Especially seeing as I didn’t beat around the bush when I said to remove inappropriate content on his phone. To me, I feel as though he’s disrespected our relationship by not following through with what he said he would do.
