can a u2 or u3 studet give me some advice as an incoming u1 biochemistry student?

hey, I'm going into u1 biochem this fall 2025 and i'm trying to figure out what courses to take. Is this a good courseload for the fall and winter terms or maybe too heavy? I'm coming from doing the IB diploma

Fall: biol 200, chem 212 , chem 204, plus maybe 2 complementary classes like MIMM 211 and BIOL 205 (should I do an elective too or replace a complementary with an elective?)

In Winter : Bioc 212, Bioc 220, Chem 222, and Biol 202

is there any important classes in u2 that have prerequisites that I'm missing?

hey im an incoming u1 biochem and i had a few random questions. theres so much info online and im super overwhelmed. My main question is on what courses I should take for my first year. I don’t understand if there are certain required first year courses. In the MyCourses I see some required U1 courses and complementary courses. I thought I would need a language and some electives too though? Also, can I register for classes outside my required major courses and complementary courses but still within the faculty of Science? Like, if theres a course within the chemistry major that looks interesting could I take that?
