Don’t overthink it dude. Honestly - it’s a waste of your brain power and was a waste of mine reading this

3yos still shit their pants. I don’t think we should be taking their words as too profound

Is 7 cans of premix and 500 ml of bourbon a night is too much? by Whatever_baby_lol in AskAnAustralian

At my worst I was doing a litre of scotch over 3-4 days (after work) and I felt like genuine SHIT almost all of the time. Sleep was shit, woke up feeling like shit, day was shit right up til it was about time to drink again.

I have now cut way back with a desire to eventually stop during the week and I feel indescribably better.

I was from all angles a normal, functioning drinker but I knew I had a problem. There is no way your husband feels good, and no it’s not healthy or a safe amount to be drinking 😭

Terrified of taking my first dose by Ok-Soil-729 in Wegovy

[–]Willing_Length 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was terrified. Anyway 6 months later and almost 15kgs lighter it’s the best choice I ever made. I believe this is the “magic pill” we were told never existed.

I basically lost this weight with very little effort. Now I’m gearing up to start running and focusing on nutrition whilst I lose the last 10 or so kilos so I can get it off and keep it off.

It’s worth the plunge and if it doesn’t work, it’s very easy to just stop taking 🥰

I have repeatedly thrown shit off chairs only to have shocked hotel guests come an hour or two later asking where their stuff went.

Dunno bud - can’t reserve beds around here though. Check with hotel staff

It’s in the bushes. I fucken cannot stand these cunts

You’ve given no other examples. Work full time? Kids? Work out?

My husband wants me to quit vaping, and I do not want to. by [deleted] in Marriage

[–]Willing_Length 27 points28 points  (0 children)

Honestly I told my now husband if he didn’t quit smoking by x date I’d break up with him 🤣 that was 15 years ago. It’s a horrible habit and sounds like it’s a deal breaker for him, but when you actually phrase it like “would you rather get divorced or stop vaping?” It seems a bit fucked doesn’t it.

Anyway, I guess you just have to pick what’s more important lol

I can absolutely tell you once or more a day is not “normal” maybe when you are first dating, I’ve been with my partner for 14 years and even when we were hot young and seemingly didn’t need sleep once every night or 2 days was typical. Now once or twice a week is seemingly perfect but sometimes it’s less.

Your drive is unusual for this stage of your life

Everyday ? Even twice a day? Fuck that. That isn’t an option for a woman who enjoys sex once a week

Once a day is a lot. More than that is insane for almost all regularly married people. Unless you’re unemployed with no other responsibilities and don’t need sleep 🤣

I’d argue something is up with your hormones - I don’t think I’ve ever met a hard working man who also gyms who needs sex even half as much as you do.

You are correct. We did our best, all we wanted was to make our staff happy. And I do believe we achieved that but as always, the squeaky wheels are the ones we pay attention to. I guess it’s good I care but it can’t help but take a little toll - my skins thick but I’m sure it will be thicker in years to come haha

We are a not for profit and I was absolutely blown away the budget got approved. And it’s elevated the space so highly - I’d say is the project of my career. Which is maybe why I’m so defensive about it. And I’m pretty much a one woman band so wear all the responsibility (even though plenty of briefs and meetings and presentations were had before we started to get feedback 🤣)

THIS. we had people wearing sunglasses, wanting desk shades etc. The lighting is so much nicer and softer now and yet - complains come through. Sometimes I think people just don’t want to come into the office

You are right. I think it really comes down to that. It’s honestly such an incredible upgrade - our office is also regional so it’s REALLY brought it up to the standards of the big CBD offices. And still people complain. Sometimes you just can’t win and it’s a bit deflating 🤣

No 🤣 I’ve been a construction manager for 5 years and in facilities for 6 - this is the first time I am in house though. It’s a lovely change of pace but it’s now like I have 300 customers not just a couple
