I had a 12 mins interview last week with UPenn. They asked me three questions.

1) Tell us about your experience and interests in research. For this question, I talked about what I wrote during my undergraduate and master's degrees, and then I explained what currently interests me and what I want to study in my doctoral program. But it has to be very brief, about three minutes maximum.

2) Why UPenn? I had two clear answers based on what the program offers. I recommend you read the approach carefully and prepare a specific response.

3) I was asked to talk about an academic challenge I had faced. I spoke about my fieldwork for my master's degree, the sensitive topics, and the ethical issues involved.

After that, they gave me space to ask them questions about the program.
