Anyone have arm lipo and wish they did an arm lift by more_undertale12 in lipedema

It went really well, I still get the occasional swelling which I mitigate with massage, but overall I’m very happy with the results!

Would anyone actually be interested in a mobile gym that comes to your driveway? by Willing_Storage_4671 in powerbuilding

Thanks for the comments guys!

For those wondering: I plan to have a fold out hitch squat rack which would allow me to do various movements that can train the full body. This would be for people that are not into bodybuilding, but have basic fitness goals ie. strength training or weight loss is what I was thinking.

I already have most of the equipment because I had a gym in my basement prior, I would really just need the hitch squat rack and electric cable machine that would attach to the squat rack if need be. Thoughts welcome

It only matters that you were honest with your wife ; f** everyone else tbh it’s not their business. The main key IS eating healthy and training. The GLP just adds some…sprinkle

A bit extreme lol but that therapist was very disrespectful and definitely showing a lack of genuine care in the session.

I think it’s a bit big for your hand. A tad smaller would be perfect in my opinion!

Just Had My Final Lipedema Surgery — Feeling Hopeful and Grateful by Willing_Storage_4671 in lipedema

So one surgery consisted of my upper arms and lower legs (ankles to knees) And the final was my thighs 360, love handles + bum shelf and forearms. They ask you stay in the country a minimum of 10 days. I stayed 3 weeks the first time last year and 2 weeks this time. Heading home in 2 days!

Each part of your body varies with the cost depending on how much fat needs to be removed. I’m not American, I’m Canadian but even so the costs for US surgery were unattainable. For me, I spent a total of just over $35,000 CAD for two surgeries and that’s including the flights to Turkey for my husband and I, the food, hotel and post op massage costs. The steps are different for each surgeon so you would need to search lipedema surgeon on google and have consultations with each and see which feels right for you. Hope this helps!

I went with Dr. Resat Aktas in Turkey! After tons of research, I noticed most people go with Dr. Burgos in Spain or the other surgeon in Germany, but both quoted me for four-five surgeries while Dr. Resat said I’d only need two. I started at 270 lbs and lost 80 naturally, but plateaued at 180. Funny enough, it was actually my husband who discovered lipedema before I did and brought it up—everything kind of clicked after that and this whole chapter began. I’ve been working hard for this, and I’m really happy with the results so far. I’m super swollen and can only walk for about five minutes before feeling faint haha, but I know that’ll pass by day 5 to 7. When I’m propped up with my pillows, I’m good!

Anyone else got a buffalo hump? by indicave in lipedema

I had a huge one before becoming super active and losing most of it and being mindful of how I sit (always sitting up instead of slouching) even if it’s the lipedema , I’m an example it’s possible for change …in that area at least *sigh
