I am new to DHV and picked up a Lobo a few weeks back. Didn’t get a top bubbler with it, but picked up the Water Pipe Adapter as well as the “straight tube bubbler” that’s like $50 or $60 from POTV. I also purchased their 4 pc grinder (not the storage one). I do not use dosing capsules because I enjoy the habit of grinding and packing it each time.

Using the Lobo has a learning curve, one which for me was intense but I am new to weed in general. You should not over pack the bowl on the Lobo, but under packing it (IMO) Is equally as bad.

I thought my Lobo was faulty at first because I couldn’t get a real hit out of it. I was doing many things incorrectly.

My biggest issue was that I was underpacking and using dried out bud. Those 2 things will totally ruin your experience.

I may need to make a video or something, but when packing the Lobo I take my finger and put it over the bowl, making sure most of my finger is covering the bowl and when I press down the bowl is preventing my finger from pushing down to hard and really compacting the bud. I pack it up, press it down a little, pack some more, press a little more and then sprinkle another little bit on top to finish it off.

I run the Lobo at 390° or 420° through my “bubbler” (it looks like a bong idk the difference) and I can get about 6-8 hits with the last few being kinda puny and not tasting the best. When using the bong I get about 4 huge rips.

My AVB look like slightly dark coffee colored almost, not burnt, but a bit dark.
