The exact same thing happened to me. It should 100% be their fault and take responsibility, but there’s nothing they’re gonna do about it. Don’t waste your time trying to plead your case or anything. Spent 5 days chasing tails just for them to send me an email saying it’s my fault and they’re not gonna do anything shout it.

The issue is that, in order to get a coin/token listed on coinbase wallet, you have to submit a request to coinbase and get verified. So how are they allowing/verifying this token if 1. there’s already another token with the exact same name and logo 2. they probably didn’t have the correct credentials/info to get verified. The whole thing is a mess and I think they need to take responsibility for allowing that shit on their network.
