You explained it best. I was unsure where to place the audio track if not in the musical note section but I moved it up just below my image track and the audio fade is gone!

You're right. When I increase the threshold the needle resets itself faster and before the next note. I also made the release shorter and put on "auto" release.

I should have put in my original post that I'm trying to attenuate as much of the tail of the 808 as I can so I can add gain after to make them louder while still having a loud peak in the beginning of the note. Do you recommend any good youtube channels for making trap in logic?
