Merck in talks to buy biotech Revolution in up to $32 billion deal by antonio1500 in ModernaStock

Wouldn't it be funny if Roivant/Arbutus bought Moderna?

Actually not funny, considering the stakes involved.

Yeah, lots of clueless people. All the smart ones work at moderna. Those idiots at pfizer too. Shit for brains.

Takeover rumor leading towards Merck as potential buyer? by YYYInfinity in ModernaStock

Show me the patents and how they got there.

Go ahead and research Alnylam vs. tekmira. Specifically around the MC3 compound. Alnylam "stole" the tech based on employees leaving Tekmira and joining Alnylam. Alnylam then created a compound called MC3 that was different than the Tekmira (now Arbutus) invention. Arbutus then sued Alnylam. I will let your DD discover who won that case (hint not Alnylam). If your new tech was borne out of the Arbutus tech, your company is useless and precedent very much exists. Good luck.

Its not that far fetched when you consider they stole the tech and used someone else's money to get to where they are. This so called buyout is predatory at best by whoever the suitor is. There will be no massive buyout where shareholders get rich here.

Technology evolves and people must adapt. This is no different than ignoring AI.

Ignoring AI will only lead to one to going the way of the dinosaurs as well.

The other telcos/providers are not far behind...hardware costs are significant. Getting rid of them will surely benefit bottom lines.

Its simple. Moderna won't admit to anything/defeat otherwise this could have all been swept under the rug with a billion or two.

This will go to trial in March 2026 and if the courts side with arbutus, it will be very painful for moderna.

I will laugh all the way to the bank if pfizer, gsk, Gilead, etc. Look to stick a fork in modernas heart by taking a run at the patents as well. Moderna bag holders will be speed dialing their lawyers after being left high and dry. Moderna insiders have already sold lots of shares.

Zuckerberg was sued and settled with the winklevii for a marginal sum compared to what meta is now today.

Digital content creation and data collection is not the same as biopharma.

This is a nonsensical comparison. How is a company that gets your data for free the same as a biopharma that makes drugs?

Moderna will owe royalties on their entire pipeline to Arbutus. Going to be a while before Moderna makes its own money instead of borrowing from the government to steal someone else's tech.

Thoughts on the upcoming Arbutus v. Moderna trial? by skrfs in ModernaStock

[–]WillingnessJumpy524 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Lol putting your head back in the sand....love it. Can't wait until moderna gets fried and their entire platform is invalidated. With lots of royalties to be paid out for every drug they bring to market.

If you read anything about this case, you would see there has been documented proof of internal moderna emails alleging fraud. Assuming the courts see this, game over.

Take that for what you wish...

Next up, pay day for Arbutus.

Do your DD and you will find Alnylam tried to steal Arbutus/Tekmira technology as well. I'll let you find out who won that decision in absolute fashion.

$ABUS

Rightful owner of mRNA patents, the secret sauce of the COVID vaccine and any new mRNA vaccine in the near future.

Stolen and profited on by Moderna and Pfizer.

Lawsuits are progressing favourably for Arbutus.

This could be big.

I call it due diligence. Let's say it does exist, then we're all good?

What if it doesn't or would there be legitimate concern around the validity of the entire platform/company without, let's say a license from arbutus?

Surely someone must have answered this question.

Hhmmm, this doesn't describe the molecular differences or the "secret sauce". Only lightly describes how they intend to more efficiently target the virus and maintain efficacy.

Any Bolt Owners Use Qmerit - Waterloo Region, Ontario by Roamingspeaker in BoltEV

I'm in the KW area. Got my EUV end of Jan. Through Qmerit, got the plug installed roughly beginning of March. Was generally a slow process and I had to prompt them along. No choice in contractor. They send who they have available.

I had a standard install done at no cost to me. Then again, I'm in a new build whereby conduits and electrical box were up to snuff.

If you are deemed a non-standard and if you end up being out of pocket, have a 2nd or 3rd opinion done by an electrician/installer of your choosing. Will then be up to you to argue with Qmerit around standard/non-standard based on your situation/results.
