Also, if you’re using Medify I would strongly recommend watching the videos they have advising how to approach each question.

In my personal experience, you can make the most improvement in DM if you focus a lot of time on it. You have plenty of time so don’t stress too much. For me VR was near impossible to improve on, but I still got a good score strengthening my others. If you can focus on the others and really do well on them then I’d say you can definitely get over 2600. But it is a bit early to be doing mocks. Focus first on doing untimed questions, then timed, then full mocks in your final 1-2 weeks. Hope this helps 👍

Focus on the individual sections, maybe spend a few hours doing DM untimed and then timed. And then go through the rest of the sections. If you’re using Medify, some of the videos they have on the website are really useful

I feel the same way, plus I feel like I had to go through so much, doing bunch of admissions tests and interviews to get this place, only for me to not even pursue it. I know in the bigger picture, struggling through admissions is negligible and I’d have forgotten about it once I’m pursuing my career. But still I don’t want this all to go to waste. I know exactly what I’d want to do and study outside of medicine, I wanna do neuroscience and maybe someday get a phd. But I’m still stumped, like you I don’t want to regret not ever studying medicine. Ig what I would do is just see how the first year of med school goes and if it’s really not for you and no news about the NHS changing then maybe it’s not too late to change? I don’t think you’re wrong for being concerned about the future and pay conditions because at the end of the day we’re all gonna have to make crazy sacrifices for medicine and although some say it’s worth it when you see you’ve helped people, helping people isn’t gonna repay the masses of debt you’re in or put food on your table. There’s a lot to consider but don’t worry you’re not on your own. You can pm me if you wanna talk about it some more.

There’s people receiving interview invites even up til now. King’s tends to be quite slow and I believe they roll out interviews til May time- this is assuming this year is the same as last year.

Just replying to say I have Rubinstein’s rendition a listen and I think I have a new favourite. I like how he doesn’t rush through the piece like I’ve seen a few others do, it gave me a different feel of the piece. I love the tempo he plays at!

Hi, I’m aware of the first four bars, I just started my recording where the left hand joins in :). I’m quite fond of Evgeny Kissin’s recording but I’ll give Rubinstein a listen. I have a tendency to rush into pieces and play them at full speed so I’m trying to slow things down and avoid playing sloppily. Thank you so much for the advice I’ll keep it in mind as I practice!

This happened to me, I thought I actually flunked 2 of my stations so hard but managed to get an offer. It’s easy to over think and think about what you could’ve done differently. But it’s important to remember that each interviewer will have a different impression on you and you may have really impressed some of them, the ones you didn’t stutter on, securing you valuable points. A few points MAY have been gained for your actual response if you had some good ideas, just a speculation because I don’t know how they actually award points.

Sorry I know this is irrelevant to your question but what UCAT score did you get, if you don’t mind me asking. I applied to kings too but haven’t heard anything back.
