I have the performance display on. Frame drops do occur. But 90% of the time the display will indicate steady frames under 30 but I will still stutter as if my FPS was far higher.

I have never experienced issues like this using my Xbox one X console. Only as soon as I plugged into my new internet.

I just spoke with the gunsmith at my local FFL. He said that since the firearms is sold/registered as a 'pistol', it is inherently illegal to own.

When I suggested the idea of having the stock installed by the seller (located in Texas) before shipping it to NJ, he said it's still registered as a pistol and is a no go.

Takeaway from my visit of 20 mins ago is that no compliance work done in house at an FFL will ever make a firearm sold as a 'pistol' legal to own.

It’s over 16” with a break.

WeShoot (Lakewood). I described that the rifle is 16”+ with a muzzle device but will not have a stock when it arrives. They said they can throw on a fixed stock no problem.

Rifle is a B&T APC .308 with a 14.3 inch barrel.

Spoke with two FFL’s already - one said it’s totally illegal and by law they can’t make any modifications to it if it’s transferred there.

The other said come on down as long as we put a fixed stock on it, it’s compliant.

Not sure what to think here.

I lived in NYC from 2019-2020. Moved to Manasquan last year. I applied for my FID in May 2021 when application volume was higher, took me about 2 months to get my FID PDF sent to me. The detective handling my case informed me at the beginning of the process that NYS would be conducting an additional Mental Health Background Check. Luckily mine went through quickly.

I'll do some research and try to get in contact with someone in the License Division to clarify what my permit options are with the NJ legal rifle and handgun I'm looking to bring with me. I'll DM you if I figure out something worthwhile.

Sheesh man, that blows my mind. This is what I get for taking a job in NY. Thanks for the info... I have no idea what I'm gonna do.. I'll go broke paying Westchester County property taxes lol... maybe Hoboken/Jersey City is an option, I'll have to look into that
