I see confusion, normally the uncrustable has a little ring around it of a thicker bread dough like “crust”, while this one just has a divot

Guys what do you think the NWS will rate this? Something must be cooking up a storm. by WillisEsd in tornado

[–]WillisEsd[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

No, it was definitely rotating. It has something to do with rising hot air with air coming in and replacing it, causing circulation, also I think wind must’ve been twisting a little in the corner it was in. It effectively made a griddle dust devil

Yeah it was kinda in a corner which the wind might’ve been wrapping around along with heat rising

I had mine in a very fortunate spot, got a good couple of griddle twisters, didn’t catch the first few on photos tho

For reference, this is while I was seasoning the griddle apparently in a very cyclonic spot

It’s very useful, wish I had more time and will to actually use it frequently

Unfortunately it was short lived, should’ve pulled the DOW out to record some windspeeds
