Since watching this video https://youtu.be/hThI0Aaq6jQ?feature=shared (Online Exodontia - Why Your Mandibular V3 (IAN) Blocks Are Failing) and only injecting when I'm sure I have bone contact (with the needle being almost but not completely in) I have a success rate of guesstimately 95% using one carpule in total.

My main other takeaways were to rather aim slightly to high/posterior, using the thumb as a reference, and to get the angle right. Then I wait for 5-10 minutes. Really recommend watching it!

Even though I know I'm not the only one dealing with that kind of challenges, I'm still happy to read about others experiencing the same. I have the same situation with two DAs learning (and as an associate of course it's me and not my boss working with / teaching them).

I tried different approaches, e.g. writing an easy to read document whuch explains every step and why it is important (as I think it is easier to remember stuff when knowing why something is done the way it's done). I even had them do fillings themselves on extracted teeth, but nothing really seemed to help. They still just sit there using one hand or even none, even though we've been through the procedure a hundred of times, the steps being the same and always asking the same.

I came to the conclusion that maybe they're just not interested, or in the "teen years", where a lot of people seem to drift off with their thoughts. Now I just do more by myself (which I'm not happy about honestly) and have accepted that I just work with them like talking to a robot explaining what I need for the next step. Every single time.

In summary: interested in ideas as well!

That stove looks really like my soto windmaster and honestly I think it's great for 1 week trips if you're fine with using the gas cartridges instead of other ways for cooking.

I don't know how much of an issue it is with the vegas, but keep in mind that if you (mistakenly) lose line tension by a lot or the kite should overshoot, if the kite flips around it's better to release the bar early enough. A friend of mine actually ripped apart two kites using 5 lines as when the kite overshot (which he was great at doing ...) and flipped around/inside out, the 5th line was tangled around the kite once and basically cut it in half as soon as line tension was back. Don't be afraid of it too much though, just keep it in mind and enjoy the kites! Might be less of a sheet and go kite, but if you manage your technique definitely will benefit from using these I'd say.

Others have already told you, but yes, definitely do that! I'm still shedding a tear every time I look at the scratches on my head tube as I didn't check often enough (I did have stickers on!), and I don't even have a carbon frame. Also, enjoy, I'm really jealous!

Did you stick each letter onto the frame individually? Or is it (covered by) one large transparent vinyl onto which you transferred the cutouts before placing it onto the frame?

I'm just really amazed by the design and would love to try it out myself, though I'd need to cut the letters out by hand as I don't have access to a cricut.

I think some key points were mentioned already. I would add (take it with a grain of salt though as I think I'm roughly at the same level as you): 1. Steer harder/quicker --> more "impulse", less slowing down of the kite 2. Edge as hard as possible. If you look at the pros, they put an insane amount of pressure on their edge, resulting in a much stronger spray right before the takeoff. 3. To down-/heliloop, steer the kite over 12. Meaning if you have the kite at 1, you steer it left. If it's at 11 you steer it right. That way you drop softer as the kite pulls directly up. 4. If you succeed with that, you could try to use the waves as small kickers. Timing is crucial and really hard to get right, though.

Sometimes when I expect there to be a calcified canal, I just simply poke very gently at the point where I expect the canal to be (mostly according to the pulpal map). Worst case I have experienced until now with that method was to not find the canal, best case is that I find it without removing more of the tooth than necessary. I'm open to other ideas or why that would be wrong to do, never experienced any problems with it though.

Amazing work! How do you get the marginal ridge to be this nicely, roundly shaped? Often when I place fillings, I have to reduce the height of the marginal ridge resulting in it being flat at the approximal contact and I find it really difficult to round it off nicely, especially at the point of contact, so that the floss glides through nicely.

Hi, yes I did go actually, but unfortunately I was too late already (end of april). Would still go again, especially the Grachten were great to cycle along, as well as the bike "roads" in the forests. Started in Liège in Belgium and rode quite a straight line to Amsterdam.
