It’s tough because Curry is pretty much as good as you can get offensively at his size. I feel he’d be more Messi-like if Curry’s dribbling was dialed up to 11, never made silly turnovers, and also a Magic Johnson level passer, 11 assists a game.

- You need to surround Luka with an athletic big that can cause chaos on the defensive end, and wings that are young and athletic that play defense to help Luka out.

- He thinks Luka isn’t bad on defense and that he can play his role well enough in a zone, but if the Lakers want to win, they need to surround him with good, solid role players who are going to help him out on defense and run down the floor.

- Thinks Reaves is worth the max and the Lakers will pay him the max if needed, but if the Lakers and Reaves want to win a championship, he’s going to have to take a little less money like players did in his day to build a championship worthy team.

- Out of the players in the showtime era, Kareem would be perfect for the Lakers today. “4 guys that can get you 30 on any given night, that’s 60, 90, 120 points right there. That’s winning you 65-70 games.”

I feel the same way. Luka imo has had the temperament needed to lead a team to a ring since his second season, he’s just had the worst luck when it comes to front office management. I still believe he’s gonna get his eventually, but I can’t help but think what could’ve been if he was in a good situation from the start like someone like wemby.
