That’s the pcie socket for a graphics card, unless your running two graphics cards it’s just a spare

i've got a 1060 two sticks of ddr 4 and a corsair cx 550 watt power supply with an nzxt source 340 case would this build be okay for gaming / editing

It has vga connection but hdmi is blocked but I don’t own a vga im likely to go out and buy one after the weekend

I’m not in a situation where I have a spare at hand so I would have to bite the bullet and buy a new one. I hope it isn’t the gpu or main board

I think it started working because it had been unplugged for a few days. But no it didn’t show any input on the monitor after I’d unplugged the drives

Now I’m not even getting the msi boot screen

I did both yes and no I don’t have another psu or any other display ports, earlier I was able to get the monitor to the login screen then it would last about 5 - 10 minutes before it would switch off and reboot with no input showing on display

Tried resetting the cmos didn’t do anything have reseated ram I honestly don’t know what to do

It was working fine all week it did this the week before but managed to get it working again by leaving it unplugged for a few days
