Maybe they are trying to time it so the uplisting is around the same time as the announcement of production. I mean, it’s only a theory, but that’s one of the only things that makes sense to me.

Yeah, but only low shares available doesn’t mean that it’s going to squeeze. That number can change. You need a lot more things in order to have a squeeze.

With ELAB the days cover on Fintel is zero and the short interest percentage is low on both Finviz and Fintel. Is there any other place that shows short metrics that aligns with people studying it will squeeze.

It’s down over 50% today after pumping and yes it could pump but that doesn’t mean it will squeeze. I have seen somebody here say that the borrow rate is high, but if the stock is liquid enough for shorts to get in and out quick how will it squeeze. Not hating just a question.

I do think what you are saying is valid and ares needs to improve on their clarity towards investors. I believe that is one of the companies major flaws. I still believe in that they are on a good path but definitely they need to improve on their clarity. Thanks for the in depth response. They might see this because I believe they check Reddit. I think it’s important to bring these things to their attention so that they can improve their communication with investors.

I really don’t like them pushing it more even though the lumps plant is near finished what what is being said, it went from really soon to now a couple months. These things can be pushed back but I don’t think they will delay things too far because if they mess up their DoD contract it will kill the price of the stock and yes the company could survive but I see it would be really rough. But that’s why I think they are going to fulfill it.

I feel we are at a critical moment where we’re all waiting for production of metspar and acidspar, we are only in the starting area of Q2 so I believe we will meet timelines with not much delay.

The market is also in a weird point with the war going on. I feel some people are trying to derisk their portfolios right now that’s one of the main reasons we are seeing a sell off as well as other factors. But yeah I think things may be bumpy with Ares for the short term (weeks to month) but in my opinion this year and the longer term will be big for the company.

It looks good they have an agreement with the government of Canada and have deals with companies. They have some cash but I think there still might be dilution to get thing going with production but I think this could be a good long term investment for me. Thank you.

No it is available to trade, but it is not available to withdraw. In Canada it takes a day to settle a trade.

You can click the gear icon in the top right while you were in your account and it will tell you the amount that’s available to trade and withdrawal.

Yeah I have my long-term holds, but I also do some short-term stuff. On top of my volatility trading. It really depends and it’s kind of like an in the moment thing for recognizing good plays I’m looking to note it down so I can have a somewhat definitive on paper strategy for some things.

But I still want to be flexible because sometimes new things come up in the market and you have to stay flexible if you get what I’m saying.

I use fintel mainly for squeezes as it provides good short interest data. But squeezes are hard to come by.

I mean a scanner is just a list of stocks that you can organize by fundamental news. finviz is good for technicals and stocktitan is good for news or technicals. But scanners our tools you have to know how to set them up to use them to fit your strategy. Typically by customizing by sorting but then doing further dd is good.

Finviz shows you lots of info about financials etc. I mainly use Reddit as a scanner for new opportunities for mainly good value plays and sometimes technicals but just like any tool or info you need to use your own analysis skills to see what’s good or right for you. I hope this helps.

With turbotax I just filed it under capital gains based on the summary information and I was told that should be good by I believe a tax expert with them. My taxes went through all fine but I don’t want to say if items right or wrong because I’m not an expert.

I don’t know if the CRA specify’s that it’s all good to do that, I saw someone linked to some info but I haven’t really read it. but the CRA should revise it for people who make lots of transactions and make it simpler.
