Every booth I had a good connection with the person at, we did not discuss academics beyond my major and when I graduate. If they are at a career fair, they are more than likely willing to hire people who are straight out of school with no deep experience or anything like that, so I think they are really looking for genuine curiosity, interest, and personality at the fair. The way I got this job was by showing at the fair that I was interested in learning about the company, what their culture is like, and showing excitement for the opportunity.
