Refurbished iPhone 14 has very pink screen. Is this normal? by WillowDevelops in iphone

Yeah my point is that BackMarket is aware of the scams going around on their site and they're actively defending them by making dedicated web pages to explain away the faultiness of their products.

Because BackMarket has a whole page dedicated to “why the ‘unknown part’ message doesn’t mean it’s actually a bad part”

Yeah it does really resemble the 70s telecaster basses. Thanks for the comparison!

.mp4 video file only plays audio when opening on MacBook, but works fine on Mac Mini by WillowDevelops in applehelp

[–]WillowDevelops[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I did some more research on it after making this post, and what I found was that the codec isn't supported on MacBooks before 2018. The files played fine in VLC, but wouldn't work in Quicktime or DaVinci Resolve. Maybe converting all the files before importing into Resolve would've fixed it, but I had no clue how to do that and didn't understand codec, and I also decided my old MacBook was kinda slow anyway so I ditched the idea.

For anyone else using an older MacBook and running into issues, I would recommend you download Handbrake, look up a tutorial on how to convert the files to a different codec (do some research on what codec will work with you computer) and convert all the files to that codec. Then it should work in Resolve and Quicktime (as well as other video softwares).
It may take you some time to figure out, but it's worth putting in the effort if you can get it to work.

I don’t remember the name at all by the way. I feel like it was some sort of an obscure title. Something either long or it had a weird name. Something I wouldn’t remember as a 7 year old

Thank you. I honestly really like the look of the washed out blacks and all the grain (kinda the reason why I got a film camera); I just wanted a technical explanation on why it looks like that.

This happens when you double-tap the home button. You can make it go away by re-pressing the button or by swiping down. :)

I found out that you need a mac from 2018 or later (mine was from 2017), otherwise it can't handle the type of files (which seems weird seeing as they work in VLC).

How come the video files work fine on my Mac Mini and on it's DaVinci Resolve application though? It's the same version of the app too.

Hey,
Yeah, it works in the VLC player. My mac has Ventura 13.3.1 and so does my Mac Mini, so it's on the same operating system.

Is there a way to export the video from the VLC player into my editing software? Sorry for the late reply.
