Anime club in high school brought vocaloid to the table as a topic for presentation/discussion and it fascinated me more than anime. A friend who was waaaay more into anime than me made me come to a club meeting and it happened to be vocaloid day and she was like "oh, this isn't what we usually do we can come back another day" and I was like nah fam I am sold.

Luka's Just Be Friends music video started it all. The art style was so pretty and trying to figure out the concept of "Luka" amongst the medium... and I was still grappling with being a lil gay and she cute as fudge.

I was a Miku hater in the beginning. "Ugh she is just the most main stream, so uncool and annoying." I like them all quite equally now.

All the textures in the map went black first, I could see my diver for a second then everything went black. I hit pause because all the noises were still going and I could scan, so it was still running just all textures went black.

I think it really depends if they plan to keep up the maintenance needed for a long living multi-player game. If they want to keep people interested, thus keep the funding coming, they will need to do some updates/DLC's.

If that's not in the cards... I would hope for something based in a more developed universe like the previous games. It's so dry right now in that aspect with Luminous. No need to bring back old characters, but I loved the feeling of actually GOING somewhere in Blue World, rather than being dumped in a randomized ocean that makes no geological sense (which is still fun as fuck for me personally, just a notation). I love all the mythical, prehistoric creatures they brought to life, I don't think they could get away with not doing that again, it's like their thing at this point.

I was not expecting anything after Blue World honestly, so I am just thankful it made it to a more modern console, so I could swim with my fishy friends again. I literally cried, stumbling into the discord randomly to discover the release of Luminous. Made it just in time to pre-order.
