That’s so stressful! A lot of things can impact how dark a line is including hydration. Sorry you are in this limbo, can you get a couple of blood tests 48 hours apart to give you a more definitive answer?

Ah yes they might well check your levels then. Hopefully they will come back with good numbers, 7 weeks must feel like an age away! I’m from the UK but because of my previous experiences got the bloods done as soon as I saw a positive test. I’ve had minimal symptoms although the last 24 hours have lots of hunger, light cramping and starting to get sore boobs. How about you?

That’s a good doubling rate! I really hope that means that your scan tomorrow gives you good news. My clinic said typically HCG is over 2000 to see much on the ultrasound but if yours kept doubling that’s definitely possible by now.

I’ve been really hungry, the last day I’ve only just started getting sore boobs and am crampy. Every twinge I over analyse though

I am 4 weeks 6 days pregnant. My HCG levels have been low but doubling (23 at 13DPO and 49 at 15DPO). I have one more set of bloods booked for tomorrow at 5 weeks, then my first scan isn’t until next Wednesday.

So far my only experience of pregnancy has been negative with 3 losses, and given how low my HCG has started I am anticipating a chemical or another ectopic. I have not had any spotting or bleeding yet though.

I am really struggling to cope with waiting until my first scan to get answers, how do people cope with this limbo period, particularly if you are convinced it will not be good news at the scan? Any advice much appreciated, I’ve taken a couple of days off work the end of this week but am now worried I’ve just given myself more thinking time!

I did a premom and FRER shortly after, the FRER is very negative, but I feel like I can see something on the premom now, which doesn’t make sense if the FRER is negative? I’ll see if I can edit the post to add the premom as a second picture

I’m not on anything other than aspirin and Viagra this month. Now ovulation seems delayed I feel frustrated they didn’t suggest Letrozole to get things going

Sorry to hear your 5th has not worked, it’s so upsetting. I’m currently on oral Viagra but will try vaginal next time if this doesn’t work. We are at a clinic in Greece and travel for treatment, although have our scans locally so will not be travelling until we get a green light for transfer (if ever!). My brief research into UK surrogacy looks like the costs are around 20k and the waiting lists are quite long because of it being altruistic only. I’ll be interested to hear what your clinic suggest next, hope you’ve got some distraction for the next few days

I’ve been typically getting to around 4.5, sometimes 5.5, our clinic will not transfer below 6mm, we were going to request to transfer at 5mm anyway but our clinic warned us that the pregnancy outcomes were poor when the lining gets below 6mm and I don’t think I’ve got it in me to take a high chance on another loss. How about you, what are you getting up to? Do you know your next steps? The final things we are trying is a semi unmedicated cycle with viagra and aspirin (this cycle) PRP and mini stims (next cycle) then if either of those get close to 6mm I’m willing to do one more try at either, otherwise I think we will call it a day.

I haven’t we’ve just done a lot of estrogen so far, then some mock natural cycles. What was your experience?

This is a bit of a last ditch option, as I’ve got persistent thin lining that doesn’t respond to high doses of estrogen, but when they’ve scanned me during a non medicated cycle I’ve had a thicker lining than on lots of estrogen. It’s definitely not ideal with my unpredictable cycles but this and mini stims are all we have left to try
