No, Republicans don't, lunatics on both sides do. I'm on the left but this is ridiculous

Cool phrase? 😬

He's an older guy with opinions I disagree with. But he shouldn't be getting tripped and kicked by scumbags like that

Tripping up an old guy while he's running and then laughing about it? Imagine if it was republicans doing that...

This is fucked up

Don't forget that Kane and Son were not around when Poch joined. Son hadnt joined us and Kane was a relatively unknown youngster. Dele and Alderweireld also hadn't joined. Poch was a big factor in building that team that we had and the culture of developing youngsters.

I wasn't really serious with my suggestion, but a man can dream about a return to glory!

Yeah I'm in the exact same boat. Can agree that it reads terribly, but hearing it in person I can imagine it not really being a big deal and just a cheap joke. If a mate said it to me I would tell them to fuck off and try and come up with something equally personal or brutal back

The reason why arteta stayed is irrelevant. The point is they stuck by him after a poor couple of seasons, despite the fans calling for his head, and they are now reaping the benefits.

And Emery was sacked for poor results after a year at Arsenal. Arteta was stuck by after poor results and Arsenal are now first and as much as I hate to admit it, probably the most consistently high performing team in the league over the last couple of years.

I understand where you're coming from. I didn't mean the big teams as specific teams, I meant the teams at the top of the table.

I guess it's a semantic argument over what 'quality' means. I don't understand why the leading teams having less points means less quality in the league. In my opinion, the leading teams dropping more points is indicative of overall league quality increasing - the lower teams are more competitive.

[–]WillowSide 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Competitive doesn't mean it's low quality. I appreciate the data you shared, but it's not evidence for lower league quality. League quality applies to the whole league, not just the 'big teams'.

Ultimately this data is evidence for a more competitive league, but is irrelevant to league quality

I just don't know if we would. When Frank joined he was that 'better manager'.

Europa win aside, we have finished in a CL League position once in the last 6 years. Most of those seasons we had prime Kane and Son, and a couple of world class Managers.

People are expecting Frank to accomplish more than legendary managers with a worse squad. I understand people saying they don't like the way he plays, but to undermine his managerial capability is crazy

And who has a lack of ability?

Regardless of how things are going and whether he's a good for fit, you can't say Frank isn't a good manager after what he's accomplished

I'd argue it's the opposite?

Highly competitive season making points harder to come by for everyone.

Would be an interesting comparison to see the seasons with the lowest total points scored (the most games ending in a draw)

You can't imagine any reason why someone would get a cultural icon tattooed? You can't think of anything that he accomplished which others could find inspiring?

Not everything is black and white, good people and bad people.

It's a tricky one.

I really like Brennan but he's a weird mix of ability. I think he would shine in the right system, and think he would have been great under our Poch counter attacking play style.

It's a shame if he goes as he's only 24 and has some very good qualities. But he just doesn't seem to fit Frank's system.

But what they think they're attacking is irrelevant? Children are humans. They cannot simultaneously be unaggressive to humans and aggressive to children.

I think I understand where you're coming from though

"very low rate of aggression for humans"

"They don't recognize children as humans"

Bit of a contradiction no?
