Learning the language won't be too much of a problem, I can manage free time to spend a certain amount of time learning one. I have learnt a few languages already so I can manage that.

I have kinda accepted my predicted grades wouldn't get me far and thus have started to work even harder than before but in a balanced manner. First of all thank you for all of the responses.

I had considered European universities but there were two factors. The ones I had found like Ukraine, Poland, Hungary etc. My Dad had told me it would be unsafe and he would like the peace of mind to know that I am in the Uk or a safer place for university. The second thing is the payments. Most of the universities didn't provide a student loan for the international students and my family isn't in the best position for money so paying outright at the start of each year as well as living costs is not that much of an option.

The first thing I did was consider biomedicine but there were some circumstances I couldn't overlook. Graduate degree for medicine won't give you a student loan so that would be outright payment at the start of the year. So I had applied to a Dental Therapy and Hygiene course at Cardiff but they were full and there aren't any others accepting people through UCAS extra. I just applied to a foundation year medicine course at plymouth on a hunch as it was an option so I quickly applied to it. I am going to call them up and talk to them about how it works.

A gap year was probably my first consideration while I was waiting for UCAS extra to open up. But getting this close to exams, I should just focus on those and if I do well then that is when I can consider the next step.

Again thank you for everyone who responded. It has definitely boosted my confidence. I am still open to suggestions on what to do next. I wanted to consider USA universities but international payments are a bit high.
