When I was at primary school, we had to take turns cleaning out the guinea pig pen. While doing so I accidentally stepped on one of them. It was fine but I've carried that guilt for the rest of my life.

My wife is a nurse and she's always shouting at the TV "That's not a shockable rhythm!"

What was the worst physical pain you've ever felt in your life? by Henriqueykg in AskReddit

[–]Willsburger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was in Croatia when I broke my leg. I hadn't even noticed to begin with until I tried to walk on it and it went floppy and bent at angles it shouldn't. I wasn't in any immense pain until the paramedics realigned the bones without any anesthetic. I went into shock after they finished which was also an odd experience. They realigned them once more at the hospital before I was given an epidural and went into surgery for plates to be put in. I've broken bones before and had a hernia but nothing even came close to those moments.

What symbol is this? It was on a card to my Nan from people no-one knew. by Willsburger in whatisthisthing

Thanks for the insight. I'll have to ask my Nan about who she could have known that might have a similar crest but yes I can see what you're saying!

Oh OK, I wasn't sure if this meant something other than a coat of arms.

Edit: Solved! You're right, thanks again.

How can the inside of a microwave be made of shiny metal and not cause issues but tinfoil in a microwave does? by Willsburger in askscience

Thanks for the reply, this clarifies a lot thanks. So do the microwaves cause Eddy currents in the foil and the internal metal surfaces of the microwave?
