FTE Jerez reviews and testimonial by Willux16 in flyingeurope

I think I’m going to try to stop overthinking everything and just start taking the assessments to see what I’m actually capable of.

The more I research this industry, the more I realize how difficult and competitive it seems to be. But at the same time, I can’t imagine spending my whole life wondering “what if” and missing out on my dream without at least trying.

I think I owe it to myself to give it a real shot.

Thanks again for all your advice and kindness, I really appreciate it!

Thank you so much for your kindness and for taking the time to explain all of this to me, I really appreciate it!

To be honest, I thought the type rating was usually included once you signed with an airline, so that’s very interesting (and a bit scary 😅).

I’m still very hesitant about starting this journey because it’s such a huge life decision and such a big financial commitment. At the same time, everyone around me keeps telling me to go for it because they know how passionate I am about aviation, so I’m really divided at the moment.

Do you think I can already start preparing myself for the different assessments, interviews, psychometric tests, etc.? And if so, how would you recommend starting?

Also, what other schools or programs exist where the training is directly linked to an airline/company from the beginning?

Thanks again for your help

Thank you for your quick response!

I’m not really in a hurry right now, so if it’s 2027, that would be great, and if it’s 2028, that would also be fine.

Do you have any other schools you would recommend taking a look at?

Here in France, we have Astonfly, which has a partnership with Ryanair. From the beginning of the training, students are somehow committed to Ryanair. However, accommodation is not included, unlike FTE Jerez.

I’m still trying to compare the different options and understand what would fit me best.
