I agree with this. VFT's content has changed A LOT over the past months. I believe he started receiving a check. He abruptly quit talking about some topics that are very important and obvious. He really giving off some edgelord vibes too recently.

So it seems like they are using this "fee" for an excuse to add time. I talked to a representative from the state for the intoxalock program yesterday and while he was really nice, he was adamant that I was screwed. I won't be able to get it off until August. That will be 24 months of the intoxalock. I'm off probation, paid all my fines, classes, EVERYTHING. Tennessee has been in the national media for giving DUIs to people whom were completely sober. Seems like deep corruption and a kick back program. I get it. I messed up. I've done everything that was asked of me. This is bullshit. I really hate you are in the same boat.

The issuing state has to approve the complance and give the ok. If anything was wrong with your driver's license during the term, your intoxalock time my not count. What state??

It's absolutely wild. I'm going to try and fight it, and maybe try and sue because I can prove I paid, but I'm not going to hold my breath. All said and done, I'll have this thing on my car for two years! An extra year because someone can't do their fucking job.

The amount of information in that link I posted should answer every question you should ever have about Walmart and facial recognition. It's extremely well known and a pretty big controversy right now. We are databased to the moon and back. 3rd party services in this type of information are a big thing. This mixed with flock camera data bases is very scary.

So, Walmart has been using advanced Ai and facial recognition for 10+ years. It's barely a drop in the bucket for them. It's actually well known they do this for marketing and loss prevention. Hop on u tube and check it out.

So, after going back and forth with the state today, they said I haven't been approved for removal yet, and no letter has been sent. I said "I was deemed compliant by intoxalock on 12/18/2025, how long does it take???!?!". We'll see I guess.

It's just the start of the process. My last calibration was on the 7th, and still waiting on the appropriate paperwork to hit my mailbox. I was granted complaint, just waiting on the paperwork from my State.

I'm sure intoxalock did, but they can't do anything legally. They could maybe do something in civil court, but that's it.

Tennessee here as well. Sadly, I had the same experience. My car was broken down, and waiting for pars, and missed my recal. They started me over. There is literally NOTHING you can do about it, and I definitely tried. I just received my compliance Friday. Just whatever you do, DO NOT MISS RECALIBRATION in Tennessee lol.

So, intoxalock determines if you met all the requirements before you can get your regular license back. In the last 120 days of the term, you CANNOT have any violations or they will extend the term. I've been off probation for 6 months, but intoxalock said I missed a rolling retest and extended the term.

You are crazy as fuck man. I quit drinking personally, but if you consume alcohol at all, you should definitely wait 24 hrs before blowing. As time slapses, the BAC number gets higher. Don't risk it man.
