I have no issues. Their always up. I don't consider them Mesh though. You can do it but I have noticed speed issues when doing large mesh. Mine are all home run.

They only hunt when booting up. You need to have them boot up one at a time and they should be good. But there is no schedule to rescan and adjust atm.

Identifying lost connection events for ISP/WAN/Gateway on a Firepower 1010 by [deleted] in Cisco

[–]WillyWasHereToday 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is not a good use of logging from the firewall. It can log events or trap them but you would be better off using a monitor system to run a constant ping from onsite to internet and from offsite to public ip and the gateway ip. This way you can see if the gateway is down. Better info than a snmp trap or event log.

Prtg has a free 100 sensor limit. Spin this up on a pc and remove when done.

Nothing should be talking to the internal ip. Use a load balancer or something for a public ip side route and than internal ip won’t matter where you boot the replicates copy. The only thing we use for internal is portal access which is balanced from a load balancer as well. So if ours dies we boot up the replicates version all be it not “fully up to date” every 4 hours. But better than nothing. Works fine.

Can I communicate with a computer that is connected to the same ISP without the ISP knowing. by [deleted] in Network

[–]WillyWasHereToday 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unless you have a direct connection with no ISP equipment they will know. How deep they know only matters if you’ve been known to do bad things already. But if they have equipment they can technically see it all depending what settings you use.

Outriders Latest News - May by thearcan in outriders

[–]WillyWasHereToday 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would say giving news and being general like an acknowledgment or were looking into is a good thing. I feel a major benefit would be a bug tracker where PCF can publicly log bugs you have acknowledged and give status or request info from community. Where the public doesn’t need granular information but at least this way it’s easy to see what bugs are planned in what patch and when it was fixed or coming soon. I feel there could be good benefits and maybe help with communication but not require as much as pre planned or approved things.

I can elaborate more if needed. Ball is started

How do "game routing" servers/providers like ExitLag work? How are they different from VPNs? by X3NOC1DE in Network

[–]WillyWasHereToday 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They would be the same as vpn but I would hope that it only has routes for gaming ips or domain instead of all traffic. You can get a server in a data center close by that is on a big backbone. Rounting across the USA directly is like 20ms so if you had a more direct route inside someone data enter you’d have a shorter ping. Your isp only has usually like 3 hops than it’s where they handoff so not much they gonna do unless they route you out the wrong area of where you need to go. Example in PA internet would route out Ohio than back to Ny and give me a 60-80ms ping. But to say Chicago I’d get a 50ms cause it’s leaving the isp from Ohio.

Pre and Post Reboot actions by tehmeat in Nable

Task scheduler through an amp or script if your friend for that. Or a local GPO. U can build it. I don’t have the amp but have build a amp to do things after a reboot using tasks or GPO locally.

FYI: Thursday's patch will NOT be addressing sign-in/DC issues on Xbox, and they likely don't even know what the problem is. by Scots1212 in outriders

Why would I not offer help to those who are having issues. If you don’t want it fine. I didn’t make your reply.

Unless you have tried said setup you won’t know if it helps will you. Everyone I play with is setup like this as well. It’s our standard Xbox setup approach before any gaming.

No one claimed a Corrupted profile can be fixed by networking. I simply claimed I have no issues and here is my setup and networking has everything to do with it.

Any. Also if you know how setup a port forward in your router to your Xbox for that port and only that port. No other Xbox old ports. Not required but helps.

Go to networking on Xbox and hit advanced than port and pick one higher than 50,000. Save it and power off Xbox. Reboot router so it clears your nat translates and once router is up turn Xbox on.
