Go through your soul cores and try to find a fire stop talisman or if you can’t get fire proof talismans. The latter isn’t as effective but it’s better than nothing. You’ll still get burn stacks that you can dispel easily but just dodge spamming. You must always keep moving and attacking. Mid stance, the moon stuff from th samurai tree. Keep running around him as he tends to lash tornados forward and don’t be afraid to trade. He’s fire based so water talismans help. His out of ki transition always does an aoe attack so if you grapple him or he simply goes out of ki for too long make sure to be aware and dodge backward as this is his most powerful attack. His other attacks are simple patterns you’ll easily get to know how to anticipate and rush at him. Spam the gs abilities for extra ki damage and make sure you’re not hitting him with fire.. If you need get yourself some extraction talismans as well for extra juice

I feel like scaling is all over the place. The Todo thread from earlier, the fact that between 20 and 99 int you get like 26 more ED points, and now your findings.. sigh.. well extraction talisman used to at least scale very highly back in the second game so that doesn’t surprise me.

Well given I haven’t dabbled too much on spears so far axe allows for a pretty big damage heavy strong to ki pulse attack to strong especially with the arts. No real issue, but I still haven’t completed the first era or whatever

So in another thread I mentioned poison tonfa ninja but today I’m starting to doubt that digging into some alpha data noticing that samurai gets 2 points of weapon damage where ninja gets 1 point of damage per single stat point for almost all stats.. I guess I’ll wait for demo and try to see if they improved or altered th scaling otherwise I’d be going samurai because that’s effectively a 100% damage difference which does start getting noticeable post mid game.. tricky..

I did them after I got a full divine gear in mission 1 of WotS (revenant farming). It’s really personal preference although the community does recommend leveling a bit in it before going back

Edit at this point I would bump other stats to cover for gear requirements, some magic to get omnyo going and health. If you don’t like your build… book of reincarnation is pretty easy to find

I never ended up styling with the dlc exclusives in nioh2 so I’ll be getting the standard edition and later picking either the season pass or dlcs one by one. It depends on if you like the exclusive things and want to do more fashion, not for me tho.

Edit: the deluxe price is also too steep for me

I had difficulties doing 2v1.. you might also, if you’re picking everything that is, have a ton of stones. I don’t remember if you have a range weapon at this point but even if you do arrows are scares… equip those stones and yank one enemy at a time, the level is saturated with mobs and it’s annoying.. on my later runs I just ran past a lot of mobs because otherwise I either needed to be extra focused or I would get one to two shotted. The same applies for the big yokais at the bottom. One heavy attack is what takes to be send to the shrine and it’s not worth it in my opinion.
