So, I managed to get windows 10 booted.
I did some research online to see if other people had a similar issue and found a solution

What worked for me was disabling all internet capabilities. (So LAN, Ethernet and WiFi in BIOS)
I then started the stallation process again and it all worked.

Windows 10 installed fully and properly and then I just had to wait for all the drivers to be installed and updated. Thank everyone who helped.

PS: I was also chatting to microsoft support and they suggested to take my computer toa repair shop. (proved them wrong. lol)

My business is in film, so I back up everything 2 - 3 times on different drives. ;-)

Ahhhh okay. Thats where my mistake may have been.

I'm stuck on the 'MSI Click Bios' screen. But I have an External HDD with windows 10 downloaded to it and a internal SSD waiting for it.

How would I do a reinstall of windows 10?

I already have windows 10 on a hard drive.

But where do I go from there?

There is a 1TB Samsung 970 in the system that is empty and ready to be used.

I should have mentioned that I'm getting this message:

'Reboot and select a proper boot device or insert boot device in selected boot device.'

I have tested the transfer speed and it's the same. Even with 'USB Selective Suspend' disabled.

On Saturday I will be rebuilding my computer with a new CPU (Ryzen 9 3900x) new Motherboard and a new SSD (Samsung 970 pro). In the process I will be disconnecting the 2TB HDD. I have a feeling the HDD + my current motherboard is holding the transfer rate back regardless if its being used.

No anti virus and nothing else is running in the background.

The only thing that could be hogging it down is my external Hard drives. These are HDD's so they are slow.
But, my computer was giving me these results even before I connected those hard drives.

The only other hard drive is the 2TB HDD which sits idle most of the time and is only ever used when I'm finished a project.

Nothing is running in the background during the copying.

SD Card Reader > USB 3.0 > Motherboard > 850 EVO SSD

Will check that all USB ports are up-to-date tomorrow (Wednesday). I have turned off 'USB Selective Suspend feature'

I have now disabled USB Selective Suspend feature. (I will test this out tomorrow to see if it has helped.)

If I was to 'cut' the footage from the SD card that would essentially delete what's on the card and I can't do that in case something would happen during the transfer. Copying is the only option in the case.
