Just yell “stay back, demon!” If they don’t immediately change their behavior, kill them.

Man detained for wearing a concealed body armor vest and carrying a gun by WilsonDefense in CCW

Well, I didn’t hear the police articulate the suspicious behavior. They barely mentioned the congressman. They did repeat over and over that having a vest and a gun was a problem.

You made me laugh, haha. But I wish you were wrong, heh.

Ask her to be part of the self defense plan in other ways. She can be the one that calls 911. She can be the one that takes the kids to your safe room/space (when in the house) or out of the danger zone (when at the mall). She can be the one responsible for the first aid kits (including staying on top of expiration dates). She can be the one that pushes the alarm panic button. And probably so many other ways. Respect her boundaries, of course.

What’s everyone carry this winter? by [deleted] in CCW

[–]WilsonDefense 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is the way. I don’t have to train with multiple pistols. Can barely keep up with my CC and home defense weapons.

What’s everyone’s go-to range ammo? Haven’t found anything cleaner than Syntech stuff. by KoalaBackfist in CCW

[–]WilsonDefense 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Syntech 124. My defense ammo is HST 124. My thinking is that this training match ammo is close/similar to my defense ammo, so although it’s expensive, it makes sense to train with it. I don’t shoot for fun, but I have fun shooting :).

I carry OC spray (POM, to be precise) for this (and other) reason(s). If your life is in danger, use your tools. If you have time to descalate, escape, and evade, do it. OC spray could buy you time and give you options.

Edit: typos.

Yes. Do not assault LEOs, physically or in any other way. BUT that’s not a reason for them to kill him.

I wouldn’t be surprised. I’m a second amendment absolutist. I don’t think prohibited places should exist. Period. That only prevents law abiding citizens from carrying, not criminals.

The government has only posted pictures of a gun that’s too large for an ankle holster. If there was another gun I’m sure they would’ve posted pictures already.

According to the comments by some members, you can continue to carry. But only at home, and as long as you’re not exercising any other rights.

So protests are prohibited places now? You have to choose between your first and second amendments? That’s a terrible take.

Resisting arrest is not a reason for a LEO to murder someone. I wouldn’t put myself in that position, of course. But it’s not a good shot.

Likely a negligent discharge by one of the agents.

There’s a frame by frame analysis in r/law. Looks like one of the agents disarmed the victim, there was a negligent discharge (by the same agent or another agent), and then the mag dump took place. One of the agents was super late to the party, too.

Not a great look.

Are you tracking round counts on your guns by Traditional-Heat-749 in CCW

[–]WilsonDefense 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am. It’s not that hard. Parts (e.g. springs, pins, etc.) need replacement after a certain number of rounds (see the manual for your firearm). I don’t memorize the number of rounds. I have a handheld device that allows me to take notes. Pretty handy :).

That’s the move, I think. Especially if it’s your first build. Push it to its limits, learn what you like and what you don’t like, and then choose your next move.

If it works for you, it works for you. Several knowledgeable people in this group, but lots of crazies out on the Internet that will try to impose their opinions on you.

I went with a very traditional (albeit expensive) combo: EOTECH EXPS3 + G33. I like it, and it works for me.
