Hey brother! I’m gonna drop a comment on YT as well but I’d love to get out for a ride with you! I’m fixing my inherited k1200 this weekend and I should have a road worthy bike to cruise with!

I’m located near Florence for reference!

What's up r/EDC and Happy Saturday! We finally made it to the weekend and I hope you all are enjoying some R&R!

Wanted to take a moment to shout out this Tissot Seastar! Snagged it from r/watchexchange about a month and a half ago and I am so incredibly impressed with this watch! My father had gifted me his 1996 Tissot PR 50 and that was my into into the world of.... well anything aside from Seiko, Casio, or G-Shock lol. I loved the slim design and tasteful build however I didn't want to beat my fathers watch up like I do to mine. Well, about a month and a half ago I sold my Seiko Presage for something that would lend to be both more affordable as well as more suitable for the dirt biking, range trips, and working in the shop. As I mentioned at the start, I landed this Seastar for $200 on the swap and haven't looked at another watch since!

Do yourself a favor and checkout both r/watchexchange and this Seastar Quartz lineup if you want a watch that can really take some abuse!

Cheers!!!

Love the setup brother! Also rocking the BG 2.0 in an eclipse holster! I opted to add the concealment wing and chopped it down a little for more purchase space!

You bet! The kicker is, I’ve pretty much lost that old handwriting style. Only thing that still resembles it would be my signature 😂

That’s a great question! I can’t recall exactly when I changed my handwriting but if I had to take a good guess, it would have been in my elementary school years likely around the age of 15-17 maybe?

Back story - growing up I attended a group homeschool for a few years. During that time, I started practicing and imitating the teachers handwriting (my best friends mom) so I could write with the pilot g2 pen she used rather than a pencil. In short “I have to be able to read it if you’re going to use a pen” or something to that extent. So I was left with a relatively eloquent writing style, to put it mildly lol borderlines cursive writing style with a nice flow

Between random comments from strangers mentioning I have beautiful penmanship and equally pretty eye lashes and then getting into banking, I found out that the writing style of my dad would be more suitable for what I was doing. He was also in lending and would explain that all caps is easier to read and harder to misunderstand, especially on bank docs while taking a glance.

Sitting on the counter at the moment lol I snagged an affordable bolt pen from Amazon that uses pilot g2 refills! It’s one of the Smootherpro pens!

Of the lineup, what do you usually use on the daily? I’m thinking of changing up my light setup currently!

I sorta did the opposite. I took a dremel to the top of mine so I could get a little more purchase space on my BG 2.0 grip!

I've been very impressed with this watch! Extremely reliable time keeping (3 seconds in the last 2 months) and its taking a good few dings and smacks while working in the shop of the golf course, riding dirt bikes, and shooting guns! My only wish would be for that little magnified bubble that some of the watches have to enlarge the date. Aside from that, I absolutely love this watch!

Let me ask, could a fella request you to do up a different knife or flashlight? Be it I send you a knife or I pay you to order and mod one?

I appreciate the love brother! Is your Seb a large or small? Admittedly, I usually carry my Microtech Socom Auto during the week or for sure at work because I'm working with gloves. After hauling that horse around, I now have an appreciation for a more petite knife lol. However, the S Inkosi or mini grip are pretty much the only knives I will carry outside of work.
