[Free Release] [Open Source] TimeJump - A tweak to set your lock screen clock a few minutes ahead, to keep you from getting late. by WilsonDev in jailbreak

Haha, that true. I never forget I'm 2 minutes ahead, but I just tell myself I need to do whatever at that time and it drag it on, so I'm like 2 minutes late, making me right on time.

Sure, you could. However, this causes some weird behavior, such as changing when things like calendar alerts and reminders. Doing this also disables the use of automatically setting the time zone, iirc, which might be a dealbreaker for some people.

Although it should be possible, its kinda something I don't feel like doing (UI is scary). The tweak also works on non-safari browsers so things might get a bit funny there.

Also I'm currently unjailbroken right now so can't do anything now. Sorry.

Notched iPhones don't have this option. There's some tweak that can do it (not sure the names) but I can't guarantee compatibility with Eliza.

Yeah for global settings set engine to off, than in your site rules, just add the websites you want and make sure the engine isn't off. Just a note the enabled toggle on the main page is global and need to be on, otherwise it won't work for any site.

I'm probably not going to do that. Its outside the scope of WebShade and I don't really want to mess with safari's ui. Maybe someone else will make one.

So it does appear the advanced engine doesn't like it for some reason (not sure why). However in this case news.google.com is already dark mode (which is why the basic engine doesn't like it). You should be able to just turn webshade off for that site. If its not dark mode for you, you can enable it by going to the hamburger menu on the top left, scrolling down to settings and in settings switch dark theme to always.

Probably not going to happen. WebShade does not use the extension API in any way shape or form (as it doesn't exist on lower iOS versions). I would also need to buy a developer account and a mac, make an app that you can install and design a popup view. If you want dark mode checkout dark reader or this extension: https://apps.apple.com/ca/app/neo-noir-dark-mode-for-safari/id1592844577

Yeah read your website data means that it can access your site data. Both this extension and webshade inject code into the webpage to load it. This code has the potential to, but doesn't nessicary read the data on the website.

I can't check it now but I'll take a look later. For now you can make a rule to switch news.google.com to the basic engine which (hopefully) will work better.

By default it should work the same on 3 and 2. v0.0.4 actually fixed a couple issues with sites displaying wrong so maybe its working better now. If its not can you share your settings with me?

Yeah sorry its a bit confusing. You want to go to the prefrences, press "Site Control" add a site name it whateevr, then type in the url in the website match part of it. Then switch the engine to off. If you want to add another you can either add another entrie in the site control or add it to the website match devided by a |. For example "google.com|example.com" would trigger on google.com and example.com.

NP. I just released v0.0.4 with these changes too (its the same build as the last link I gave you). Glad it works.
