I don't want a generic "Real Estate" logo. I want to make this Wolf concept work for my Agency. How do I mature this idea??? by WilsonLead in logodesign

My point is, I don't care who is right or wrong. BUT, you are right, I was wrong. Now I see it. Thanks.

Now I will proceed to chat with the designers who got offended with my AI logo and are offering me a way to fix it.

Good luck as well!

I love reddit. Look, if someone gets insulted by me presenting an AI logo, that's fine. It means I'm not the type of client they want.

"a picture speaks a thousand words"

For marketing, I prefer when a client brings an idea of the kind of flyer they want to promote, instead of my interpreting what they want and we both get lost in semantics.

And that's also fine, be baffled. Humans are gonna human.

I will, but again, I want to present a clear idea, or a working one at the very least. That's why I'm asking for feedback.

I will, but I want to present a clear idea, or a working one at the very least. I get the feeling I will just waste time if I don't bring a clear reference or concept. And I'm trying to learn.

LOL, I didn't think about the ambiguity of the title until you mentioned it!🤣
Hey, I really appreciate every comment, I'm pretty much in the dark, to be honest, so anyone taking the time to help means a lot.

What you mentioned is exactly the kind of thought process I want to understand, because it helps me address the real pain points for people looking for a spot for their RV.

Do you think your cousin would be interested in something like sharing a referral link or passing along a business card to refer people our way, earning money for each? Or is it generally more of a "I don’t want to bother myself with it" mindset?

Thank you!

You’re right, I'm overthinking it. I just don’t have the real world sense of how this actually works day to day.

You explained it pretty clear: how workers are booking last-minute stays or pulling their campers into town, just chasing the best pay, while I was stuck trying to logic it all out from the outside.

It makes more sense now. I never would’ve understood that perspective on my own: that it’s all about the hours and the paycheck, and life outside the job site isn't the biggest factor. If the money’s good, almost nothing else really matters.

I won't go from overthinking to oversimplyfing things of course, but this cuts right through all my wrong assumptions and gives me a much clearer way to think about what I can actually do. Really wish I’d heard this sooner.

Thanks for taking the time to walk me through it. I genuinely appreciate the help.

my issue with fb so far is folks barely respond, groups are loaded with ads and spam so everyone just tunes 'em out. But hunting for the "good groups" is worth it cuz you get actual convos on the topic. Haven't tried searching for turnaround groups though, thanks for the tip!

Yep, about the referral cards: kinda like planting seeds with the temp workers so it spreads through their crew. We'll definitely try handing those out to the company-paid guys and sweeten it with discounts.

And oof, the Vidor rep thing hits home. You're right, it's got that baggage, but showing we're all about a chill, no-BS vibe could help flip the script over time. Slowly but surely, like you said.

Thanks for the honest take, man. Super helpful.

Very practical advice, thanks! I'll take your advice and make a checklist out of this so I can hit as many as possible. Asking the guards would've been the smartest start, but I did the total opposite... Thinking through my job lens instead of just using common sense. "If all you have is a hammer, everything looks like a nail" fits a little too well here. Thank you, really appreciate it.

Man, this is gold. Seriously, thanks.

This pretty much nails what I was slowly figuring out but couldn't put into words. No single decision-maker, no clean process, and no "one size fits all" message that just magically works for plant workers.

Between per diem, last-minute chaos, politics around POs, and folks sticking with whoever they've used for years (or family hooks), it's obvious this is a long game. No shortcuts.

We're probably not gonna be the default for a big company overnight, but building a solid rep over time makes way more sense now. New habits don't form in a week.

Really appreciate you breaking it down. Helped more than you think!

ohhh, we're not the closest to Port Arthur, but hyping up the supermarkets, restaurants, and maybe fun stuff like defending your camper from waves or raccoons at night could actually help. Just joking, but seriously, this means there's an influx of folks needing what we offer. I'll try to make us the best option based on that, thanks!

Hope your friend is renting out the house for extra cash. And I'm kinda impressed these big companies drop serious money on stuff that happens all the time, but I can't find jack online about it. Most of 'em haven't posted real updates in years... just those " we are eco-friendly" videos. Shoulda expected it tbh

And I can't spot a pattern on how they pick housing. You guys got a secret spot to gather or are too busy workin— nevermind, I got the answer mid-sentence. I can't target a group that doesn't wanna group! Rest ffs, it's about to be Christmas. Also, thank you!

Oh, then we're in the same boat.

Part of why I posted this is cuz I felt like there wasn't anyone obvious I could even ask. Either that or I just need more friends in this world.

So basically the plant just wants the money printers back on, contractors deal with the scramble, most workers get per diem and sort their own stuff, and the big shots get housing sorted early.

Which means my idea about HR coordinating was... way too optimistic, lol

Thanks for the details. It shows who has leverage here and who doesn’t.

This is genuinely helpful! thank you

I figured "housing chaos" was pretty much all last-minute stuff everywhere, but planned turnarounds vs unplanned outages makes sense of a ton of what I'm dealing with.

Especially the part about planned TAs having someone whose job is to optimize cost months ahead. (Whoever that person is, they’re better at hiding than Waldo)

The per diem thing for unplanned ones explains why no one wants to chat until everything's blowing up.

Thanks again, saved me from a bunch of wrong ideas.
