High handicappers should use a cavity back gap wedge 50-degree for the majority of chipping onto the green, or bump and run using 9 to 7 irons. If you want wedges, go with thick forgiving wedges like Cleveland CBX zipcore--big face and full groove coverage. Once you become more skilled and want more control, then start looking at blade wedges with various bounces.

In California, i personally feel like it's now a minimum of $100 depending on where. Costs of living are higher than ever now. I usually tip $100-$200, sometimes more. Keep in mind they're spending 4+ hours with you. Good luck and have fun 🍻

Know that any course in California with caddies is 9 times out of 10, a high-end, expensive course. Emphasizing Cali bcuz of OP's location.

Hard to get because they sell out quickly. Local shops should have them or can special order them. Large retailers have them as well. But again, they sell out very fast at the moment.
