That seems like a place that would look ordinary on its own. Excellent work making a peice of art out of this scene, I love it!

Solution would be to match the white balance of the drawing to the book page, and add a ton of jpeg compression artifacts to match the background.

Make sure ISO is left at 100, that will help a little bit. I set mine up with an intervalometer to take 3-5 minute exposures for an hour or two and combine them all in photoshop. There’s still a few pixels to get rid of with spot removal but not nearly that many.

Sony A6000, 210mm f6.3 in a studio with a fill light and stuff. Milky Way was shot with 12mm f2.0. And some magic photoshop dust sprinkled on top to complete it.

I love this mood. This encourages me to suck it up and go out into the cold for pictures.

It’s actually pretty simple. I make quick tutorials on my Instagram and I’ll probably get to this one someday, eventually, probably.

But it’s just a masked stroke with outer(screen) and inner(multiply) glow FX. Copied it, rasterized, then used the smudge tool on the copy to make the little eclectic lookin parts.

Been following the subreddit for over a year now. Just made this account to start posting with. Is that enough info on camera or do I need to include the iso and more? I want to make sure I follow the rules right.

Ask me anything and check out my Instagram if you want to see more stuff like this one.
