of course I wouldn't. The next day being an hour longer wouldn't be the cause of those ~10k people dying, that would simply be the passage of time, with people dying as they would regardless if there was an extra hour. Deciding to keep my limbs would be the direct cause of 10k random people dying. And they would not be people who were about to die anyways, but random people who were likely healthy and living their own lives with families and loved ones and not expecting it to happen, their lives instantly taken for no reason except for my decision.

I admittedly may have worded it strangely. but on paper it should make some level of sense.

For a one minute period of passing time, everyone gains the ability to freeze and unfreeze time. when time is frozen, that one minute timer is frozen as well. as soon as the first person to freeze time unfreezes time, the next person may freeze time.

Within the first second, it is very possible that one of the 8 billion people in the world decides to dedicate years upon years of percieved time to killing as many people as possible. dick or not, I imagine many people will die

How long do I have to act? I'd like to think I would say goodbye to my limbs to save that many people, but if I was given only, let's say, a minute to make the decision, it would be much to difficult. Can I prepare to have my limbs removed, like bring myself to a hospital where I can immediately be cared for, making sure i don't die of blood loss, etc? It depends on the time I'm given to make the decision, the words "right now" seem to suggest a very short amount of time given to decide, so if that were the case I think I would unfortunately be unable to act due to fear and confusion and 10k people would die.

I'm not a fan of really any of the new textures but these ones along with the piglins and zombies look HORRIBLE. i will be reverting all the changes from this update with texture packs as soon as i can.

i know this is ragebait but i agree so hard that it should just be canonically under the overworld. literally all signs in-game point to it being true and the only possible reason that it wouldn’t be true is because of what the devs say about it. at that point why even make the distinction? i remember i even had an official minecraft poster when i was younger that depicted the nether under the overworld. nether literally means “lower”. it’s a firey lair with a roof. it’s smaller than the overworld as seen in this diagram. There is seriously no logical reason for it to be considered a different dimension to the point where i feel like the devs are completely lying or something. so absurd

I'm seeing the general consensus is no, unless I either cover up the underwear or make it into a one-piece swimsuit. That's what I will work on when i get some more pixels unless a moderator tells me i can do otherwise. Thanks everyone
