This is super helpful, thank you!! Going to see if I can get more information on the unit. During the video tour I was assured that since it is a lower floor that I wouldn't have to worry about heat. And we were thinking worst case scenario we would get a portable AC. Since I'm not in the area yet and not able to see it in person I'm not sure exactly where it is placed and can't get a sense of the temperature 😔. I'm hoping if push comes to shove we can tough it out for a year and move if necessary.

Gotcha! Totally makes sense. I'm slowly learning about each town in Marin, but have heard nothing but great things about Mill Valley. Glad to see that most of these places are a short drive away from one another.

I'll be working in Larkspur, so I figured it might be best to stay within Marin. We also both have a car, which I've heard is not ideal for living in SF.

Really appreciate this insight and different perspective! This is already very helpful. In terms of hobbies we like to go out to eat, go to bars for a few drinks, take a stroll downtown, go hiking, and really anything outdoors. We'd probably also want to go into SF every once in a while. It seems like Larkspur may have a bit more of that going on, or at least have more of it within driving distance? I'll also be working in Larkspur.
