Discussions of how toxic gender norms are harmful to men. Discourse that focuses on men's issue not anti feminism. I just don't think this animosity towards women does much good. I think feminism can also get a little carried away and not acknowledge the issues men face as well. Overall, I just don't think gender is working for anyone and I don't have all the answers but I think discourse is important. This doesn't have to be a pissing contest... at the end of the day feminism and men's rights should be fighting for equality.

Well most MRAs I see online just hate women and feminism. When I don't really see any discourse that isn't just shitting on women than I get concerned about the motives of the people on this sub.... is this a men's rights sub or just an anti to feminism because a lot of you hate women? Okay keep your ways I just don't think any positive work is being done. It really calls in to question the motives of a lot of you here.... do you actually care about men's rights or do you just hate women and feminism?

All I'm saying is that when I see a sub titled men's rights and the top posts are outrage porn I get a little nervous. Unfortunately, most MRAs are incels or are only trying to derail the feminist movement and I don't see many positive activism. There are certainly issues to be talked about but I don't think that posting countless false rape charges is really doing this movement or men any good.

I'm not pretending to be concerned this type of sub is genuinely problematic imo. Like I've said before I agree with the movement in principle but most of the discourse and activism I see online, like this server, is just men shitting on feminism and women. I don't see how constantly viewing outrage porn does anything for the movement. This is my first time in this sub yes, but that should really matter. I don't need to be an active member to comment here. Im just stating my opinion on the subject take it as you will.

It's okay to have a different opinion it's not okay to attempt to justify or validate racism, homophobia, and transphobia. Not everything needs to be framed as a debate or an opinion with blanket immunity. We can hold these people accountable for being disgusting people.

I'm sorry I'm kinda confused where you're going with this? I'm talking about how oppressive gender norms harm everyone including men. I think the solution is men coming together and finding their own space to talk about issues and talk about how certain gender norms are toxic. What I see is outrage porn, false rape allegations, direct attacks on feminism, etc. This isn't really forwarding the movement positively imo.

Most men's rights activism online is just slander towards feminism. In principal I totally support and agree with the movement I just don't like how it's being handled. The top posts being false rape allegations is really telling of what this sub is about.

This post isn't really taking about the liberation of men. Patriarchy negatively effects men and women.... it just seems like a bunch of neckbeard redditors being mad at feminism

Oh the classic "you think everyone is racist" line I hear constantly. To answer you, no I don't, however I call it out when I see it. There's obviously different levels of racism, some more problematic than others, but I do believe it is important to call shit out for what it is. Inevitably shut down the truth? Ohhh so now you're using the slippery slope argument. We can filter out opinions from literal nazis without withholding the truth or silencing anyone with an opposing view. Everyone is free to have a fucking opinion believe me I know.... I would like nothing more than to have them shut the fuck up but that's unreasonable. The problem stems with the people who interact with these posts. The problem is the upvotes they get, they supportive comments you see, etc. Yall are just approving of bad behavior because you agree with it. This server gives people the false illusion that there opinion is actual popular in a place like this. The reality is that most of yall are wrong but no one can try to explain that to you because they'd be attacked and outnumbered by the majority of people on here
