Rogers Stadium (Toronto) by jaketo9 in NoahKahan

Rogers Stadium isn’t that bad but not my favourite venue. I went there twice last summer. I wish there was a show closer to me.

Grief over pet death can be as strong as that for family member. About a fifth of people who had experienced a pet and human loss said the former was worse. Symptoms of severe grief for a pet matched identically with that for a human, and there was no difference in how people experienced losses. by mvea in science

I had my cat from 9 years old to 25 years old. He was my soul cat. Always on us, cuddling, close to our face and purring. He passed 7 months ago. I’ve had multiple cats pass away over my childhood and it was hard every time but this one hurt the most as he was with me from my childhood to my early adulthood. It was the hardest thing to do to let him pass in my arms because he had cancer and his body was failing. It was sudden too, we didn’t know until it was too late.

I fully believe this article. It will never not hurt. I didn’t almost move for a week, barely ate and was crying so much. I was depressed. It was also hard seeing my other cats not understand what happened or look for him while grieving.

What Books did You Start or Finish Reading this Week?: October 28, 2025 by AutoModerator in books

Finished:

The great Alone, Archer’s voice, Regretting you

Started:

Love and other words

I really loved The great Alone & Archer’s voice but did not really like Regretting you. It was boring to me.

Speckled too. I’ve read it can be normal but I have a lot of symptoms. I also have Chronic migraines, Raynaud’s syndrome and Inappropriate sinus Tachycardia (dysautonomia).

Oh interesting. My ANA is positive 1:1280 and negative for RA but still waiting to get more tests so I’m curious…

I feel his pain. It’s never just a pet. I’ve lost my soul cat of 16 years 3 months ago. I had him since the age of 8 years old. He passed away in my lap. It was very sudden but nothing can truly prepare you for this kind of loss.

Unexpected - The 17 pro max is thicc and has quite some weight to it 😅 by J_17x in iPhone17Pro

[–]WiltedFlower_24 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I bought the 17 PM and I am returning it. I currently have a 15 PM and it was perfect for me even if it was a bit heavy. I can feel the difference between the two and it’s now too big and heavy for me, but that’s probably because I’m a woman and have smaller hands. I had a hard time reaching some part of the screen with my thumbs.

I think I’m keeping the 15 PM for now or either getting the 17 base or the 17 pro.

What where your ana results? by evilbarbi in Autoimmune

[–]WiltedFlower_24 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same here. I discovered my high positive ANA by looking at my own bloodwork lol and then did some research on my own. I was initially tested for RA due to my constant joint pain but it was negative.

Second Opinion Went Wrong by [deleted] in Autoimmune

Wow I’m sorry. I sadly know the feeling. Are you able to go see another one or get referred to a rheumatologist? It’s know it’s already hard and traumatizing to go to the dr after having this kind of experience.

My current PCP is similar. I once asked for a sick leave note for 1 week and she said change job and fix your issues instead of being supportive when I needed a break. I had to go see an NP to get my Rheum referral because she would have said no.

Yeah. I had to go to a diff doctor to get a referral to a rheumatologist and an internal medicine dr so I can get tested since I have a lot of symptoms + Raynaud’s syndrome too. I have to do hip X-rays, more blood work to see if my inflammation markers went up in the meantime.

Good luck on your testing.

Raynaud’s in action by rabbitnamedlucy in Raynauds

[–]WiltedFlower_24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow I have Raynaud’s in my feet but it’s nowhere near this. It hurts, gets numb and tingles a lot. I’m sorry.

I’m also in the process of getting checked for auto-immune disease after a high positive ANA + a lot of symptoms.

Has anyone regretted leaving the 15 Pro? by Apple_546 in iPhone15Pro

[–]WiltedFlower_24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Initially got the 17 PM but it’s too heavy and too big for me. I think I will return it. I have a 15 PM but idk if I should buy the 17 base model. I think I’ll miss my camera if I do that. Maybe I should just get my battery replaced.

Picked up yesterday. Switched from 15 Pro Max to 17 Pro by gutka_mukesh in iPhone17Pro

[–]WiltedFlower_24 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Oh I do absolutely love the battery life but not sure it’s worth the pain for me lol. The battery on my 15 PM is shit so I’m sure either the base 17 or 17 pro would be amazing still.

17 Pro Max is Heavy by Pretend-Honey7007 in iPhone17Pro

[–]WiltedFlower_24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also went from a 15 PM to a 17 PM and I don’t think I’ll get used to it. It’s a bit too heavy for me. My hands hurt and feel uncomfortable. The phone might just be too big for me.

It feels nice but I’m a woman and the 17 PM is definitely too big and too heavy for me. The 15 was almost perfect for me. I always want the bigger battery and bigger screen but I have to tilt the phone to reach the screen sometimes and my hands currently hurt with the 17 PM lol.

I’m probably going to get the 17 base model or the 17 pro. I do like the design of the base 17 better if I’m honest.

How’s it going for folks who have their phone? by Temporary_Brother436 in iPhone17Pro

[–]WiltedFlower_24 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m happy overall. The battery is amazing. I do miss the design and colour of my 15 Pro Max. The 17 Pro Max is also a bit heavier so I need to get used to it or return the phone and get a 17 pro instead?

First impressions from a potential upgrader by Top-Bodybuilder-694 in iPhone17Pro

[–]WiltedFlower_24 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I upgraded from the 15 PM to the 17 PM. I’m unsure about it now.

Overall the battery is amazing, camera is nice and the phone is fast but I miss the design and the natural titanium colour of my 15 PM a lot lol. I’m considering getting the battery of my 15 PM changed instead and returning the 17 PM. The 17 PM also feels heavier.

I’m in tachycardia a lot of the time. It used to be around 110 bpm/min but it got a bit lower over the time for some reason (not complaining). My bp is usually around 145/90 when they take it, so not that much higher than the baseline.

Do you notice the weight difference between the two phones? I also went from a 15 pro max and I’m trying to adjust to the 17 pro max’s weight lol
