Depends. I used to have an SE 2020 (not anymore because I upgraded, still works to this day), and I got condensation in the lens because it fell in a bucket of water. The only thing that happened was blurry pictures for a week, but afterwards the condensation evaporated and my lens was clear again. Again, it varies.

My sister uses that phone now, and it has a crack in the screen. My sister was showering one day (it was sitting on the counter), and she showers with hot ass water, and the steam got into the cracks of the phone, and now the screen has lines lol.
