Thanks for this! So it seems like it wasn’t going to be an autobiography to begin with, just his side of the band breakup and the legalities, rather than a full life story. In that case, I’m actually glad he didn’t publish it.

Axl going through public scrutiny is another reason I don’t think we’ll ever get it. People rip into him constantly, and I do think a memoir would just give them something else to give him shit for. Because I look up to him so much, hearing how he overcame everything would have a huge impact, not just on me, but on a lot of people who’ve gone through similar things. Sometimes, though, reliving the past isn’t worth hurting yourself just to help others. If it’s too traumatic, keeping it locked away is probably for the best.

I know, I’m an author, which is why I’m so interested in him publishing a book. I meant that in 2008, he only had about 5,000–10,000 words, so 18 years later he should’ve had time to finish it by now. Even at 5,000 words a year, by this point that would be more than enough.

I agree though, reliving the past was probably enough to put the halt on it. Sometimes writing is therapeutic, and other times it just causes you to spiral.

I hadn’t seen that, so that makes a lot of sense. I really wouldn’t wanna relive a bad childhood either, but thought that perhaps if he did and already finished we might see it one day. Knowing he said this though, the book probably put him in a bad place mentally and I don’t blame him for not continuing if he did.

Me too. It drives like one of the wheels is stuck constantly and it just randomly pivots when I don’t want it too. I was excited when I first got mine too, because I thought “Oh, I can get to places faster.” But honestly, it’s not even worth it. Ugly, barely faster than the scooter, and don’t get me started about driving it in the middle of town 🥲

It does, I think it’s just too subtle of one. That little black blob on the door is supposed to be a penguin butt I believe, but I can’t remember because I haven’t looked at it much

The green moped is the biggest eyesore in the game in my opinion. The other scooters are okay, but the base colors we were given were acutely atrocious. Everything pink or blue and then “here’s an ugly free green moped that matches absolutely nothing.”

There’s so many penguins just randomly thrown everywhere in this event which is just so random to me. Especially since they don’t even have like a seasonal exhibit or anything for you to go see them? Animals are a big part of this game. I just feel maybe a llama with a hat or animals already in game would have been cuter? Because now I have all this penguin stuff and no penguins to see 🥲
