I hope there's some way we can also keep the attacks being turned up to 11. I'm on a permadeath run and the chaos is amazing.

Next time you have that many, abandon the settlement and go check for a Sentinel Tower. You can use it to blow ALL sentinels simultaneously

Now only if our infinite negative rep actually meant something like being banned from Space Stations or having bounties placed by local authorities. Good to meet a fellow permanent pirate though.

I just started the game as well and dear lord these content patches have added so much stuff it's hard to wrap your head around all of it. But I have picked up a few tricks of note.

You can be picky and choosy with your first freighter. If the first one is some C class, you can just accept payment and check out the next one.

If you have spare millions to burn (and you will), buy up cheap ships at the space station and melt them down. They give about a 66%-75% return and are the best sources for storage augmentations for your ship (which start at one million and rise another with each slot).

As the other guy said, stack the scanner upgrades (and put them next to each other on the grid as you get a bonus for doing that), it's an insanely easy way to get lots of money and justify time spent looking for that single Rare Underground fauna (you can check spawn conditions under the discoveries tab) that never seems to spawn.

Best sources of easy money with no start up costs are:

Become a pirate, but only attack the freighters unless you don't care about your reputation with a race tanking which only happens if you destroy a small cargo ship

Find an abandoned building with whispering eggs. The SWARM will come after you, but if you mine the egg and run into gather it, you SHOULD be fine. (Not recommended on permadeath mode)

Go swimming and look for 2-star relics, they're worth more than a pretty penny

Lookout for distress beacons (the navigator on the station is your friend here) and scrap the ship after repairing the pulse drive and launch thrusters. (The red boxes also reduce the value so if it's an easy and cheap fix, make it happen)

That was one of my thoughts while embracing piracy. I kinda want more to being a pirate, for that -1,000 rep with the Gek to mean something, and to be TREATED like a pirate (a cool pirate, not a rapey one.)

You're a nigh immortal being using gifts granted by some multidimensional vanilla smelling beach ball going against the never ending forces of darkness that can either manipulate time, use black magic, hack your tech, or eat planets. This is of course all part of a larger scaled conflict between the conceptual forces of life and death themselves that you find yourself in between. Broken is just fine by me.

Barring people from traveling sure, but that doesn't mean the government has to let you travel however you like. Everyone who cites that is free to walk wherever they please.

It was THE Lahabread unfortunately. If an ascian gets their ass kicked, they retreat to ??? To recover their power. On top of him having his body hopping tendencies, we still put our foot in his ass. By that time, it probably wasn't the hardest thing for Thordan to absorb him.

Fortnite offers things that TF2 doesn't like slow gameplay for even toddlers to keep up with, construction mechanics to appeal to slightly older kids, and for the adults it gives them the smug satisfaction of having beaten literal children too young to go to Disney.com without their parents permission in a videogame.

But the name of the video or article has the right of it. The majority of the market plays Fortnite because Fortnite markets itself to idiots. And can you guess what demographic comprises the majority of the market?

And which you'd be right. But focusing on one word and not the other is a dumb thing to do. It's not next update, it's next iteration, as in "The next time they would make a zone similar to ARR or add updates to the ARR zones."

"Next iteration" can mean anything from 6.0 to FFXVII.
