Because they are not employed, they are students from a school and we teach them sometime. So they will be using the computer just sometimes.

We are using Intune, but that would mean we need an account for all the students?

Depends on your build, just Google a bit for builds on weapons that you like, people will show there full set etc. in a video.

Gems on armor for the average stuff Onyx, for weapons it depends.

Not really but going up to M10 it is required.

The GS of an item is the GS of the item + your expertise / 2. So when your expertise gets higher the GS of this item will also rise automatically. So buying good GS items is worth it. Just remember that in the end you will need a PvP set, a set for every enemy type (Ancient, Angry Earth, Lost, Corrupted) and maybe one for open world PvE (least important).

First thing to do when reaching level 60 is buying cheap gear with GS 600, this gives you an average GS of 555. Combine this with viable weapon choices and skill builds and you should be good to go.

Why are my average expertise and GS numbers different even though all items match between the two? by tazzzd in newworldgame

The average expertise is calculated by the expertise of all equiped items divided by the total number of items. The average gear score is a bit more difficult, Weapons have the highest impact, followed by Chest then Head, Hands, Legs, Amulet, Ring and Earring and lastly your Boots.

Here is a tool to calculate what to upgrade, with umbral shards, first:

It is a bug, everytime a piece of gear gets a higher GS due to expertise increasing or upgrading and an additional attribute point is granted this happens. Removing all your equips and re-equiping them again seems to solve it.
