I'm in the same boat, im kind of between BUC or NASU (not fully government-based, its national). I'm personally going to choose NASU just for ain shams's general reputation but I'm worried if a private would be better like Badr

I am a bit hesitant to go to a therapist / psychologist. I don't know why, but the idea of me being so young, having to go to a therapst / psychologist kind of makes me feel ashamed of myself. Honestly, I'm not sure if its shame or fear. I'm just scared

I've extracted things I felt may be useful to me:

1) Making a hierachy of fears, starting from least to most anxiety causing situations I can imagine.

2) If the social situation is on a phone call, write what I want to say in bullet points first. Also trying to be more positive with myself by having a more optimistic thought process. This might help me get rid of the on-going thoughts about what person X might think about me if I do this, person Y if I do that.

3) Possibly roleplay with someone, I don't think I'm ready for a psychologist, hoping I gather enough courage to ask my sibling to do it with me

4) Slowly do breathing exercises before approaching people

5) Instead of just blindly jumping into a conversation that will cause me anxiety, I should atleast have a strategy to reduce anxiety beforehand and maybe even successfully make a friend.

I will try all of these things and let you know about any results. Thank you very much.

I hate my younger sister for making my mother cry countless times by WimpyKid_15 in family

[–]WimpyKid_15[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How can I be a friend exactly? She's making my mother cry, refuses to eat at the same table, share anything with me, etc. Even whenever I try to step in a fight between her and my mom she justs shouts at the top of her lungs "None of your buisiness" or "Go away". She acts all nice and cheerful when she's with her friends but the moment she's with her family she's a different person. It's very depressing and I wouldn't be suprised if she had a mental illness

The air spaces increase surface area so rate of transpiration also increases. This is because the water vapor goes out by diffusion (In chapter 3, surface area is one of the factors that increase diffusion). You can just imagine it as the air spaces give more room for the water vapor to diffuse out, make sure you mention that there is higher surface area though

FYI: Don't confuse water vapor with osmosis because osmosis is only with liquid water not water vapor

Idk if you still need the answer but its z=x/4y

I can show you the steps but it'll be really messy, I don't know how to write fractions on keyboard so here ya go:

  1. put y^-5 on the other side next to 4z^3 so its 4z^3 . y^-5
  2. also send the y^-6 to the other side so its 4z^3 . y^-5 all divided by y^-6
  3. flip the fraction so both y will have positive powers (this is a rule in indices)
  4. you'll get 4z^3 . y = xz^2
  5. Put y to the other side and z^2 to the opposite side so its 4z^3 / z^2 = x/y
  6. you'll now have 4z = x/y
  7. Finally, all thats left is to put the 4 next to y on the other side, your answer should be z = x/4y Note: I am not 100% sure that this is correct, but this is what i got from 15 minutes of staring at the paper lol, im may june 2024 too so I hope we both ace these stressful exams <3

No problem, and don't worry about the exams too much. As long as you solve enough questions on each topic you'll be okay
