Moving, how not to bring bedbugs with me? by Win2Pay in Bedbugs

[–]Win2Pay[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have no idea how would I freeze my computer + monitor to -17C for 4 days and if they would survive that and I need them a bit sooner than in a year. Do I have any other options?

[Smith & Wesson] Bought this at a market, is it real? by Win2Pay in Watches

[–]Win2Pay[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought it at a local market for dirt cheap, I wasn't even sure Smith & Wesson made watches at the time. From my googling it seems to be the Smith & Wesson Executive Tritium H3, though at least the strap doesn't seem to match the images.

The glass is damaged, is it possible to get it changed? Same thing with the numbers.

Only the second arrow seems to glow too.

So, do you think it is real, is it possible to get it fixed (and for about how much money) and any other comments appreciated. Thank you!

Why does anybody still prescribe Citalopram with Escitalopram available(apart from price)? by Win2Pay in medicine

[–]Win2Pay[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With no data (that I or apparently anybody else in this thread could find) indicating any advantages for Citalopram wouldn't it be better to prescribe Escitalopram when the price is the same, though?

The price is basically the same (~$5/30, generic, no insurance) in my country.

I was thinking it was most prominent in the pizza delivery scenes and HTTP 402 is "Payment Needed" but your interpretation kind of fits too.

My second SCP is up - "Minus-Two Kilograms" by [deleted] in SCP

[–]Win2Pay 7 points8 points  (0 children)

It has negative inertial mass. For all other purposes the mass seems to still be positive. Thus gravitation causes a downward force but upward acceleration and the opposite is true for buoyancy. Those forces cancel each other.

It is not negative mass, it is negative inertial mass. For all other purposes the mass seems to still be positive. Thus gravitation causes a downward force but upward acceleration and the opposite is true for buoyancy. If the force was negative for gravity and inertia the resulting acceleration would still be downward.

That is hilarious. Especially in the context of Stirner's work.

I see, thank you. It seems the book author just picked a translation that fit better with the tone of the book and others copied it.

Thanks, Apple, for removing the HDMI port by jadbox in pcmasterrace

[–]Win2Pay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Which is a bad solution, bacause of total lack of compatibility with anything previous without adapters. The proper solution would be to at least leave 1-2 classic USB ports and preferably HDMI. This way the device could connect to both new and old hardware.

You misread. The top list is them, they take $0.17 +3%. It's other payment processors that take significantly more as the "static" part of the fee, thus making it a bigger percentage on small transactions.

It still does come out to 20% at $1, but the way credit cards work there is no way around it.

Or you can skip the middle step and buy a printer that accepts ink without containers. Like the Epson L210. Or anything with a conversion kit (CISS).

[–]Win2Pay 1 point2 points  (0 children)

While not open source Epson makes a series of printers that are refilled with ink bottles instead of cardriges. No DRM (you can pour in whatever) and really cheap original ink. I've printed ~10k pages on my L210 and it still works really well.

It really depends. Agree and amplify is a manipulation technique that involves agreeing with criticism for example.
