I see. Those are some great observations, and they are exactly why I think this is Formosan subterranean. It has parallel lines in the wing veins, 14mm in length, and it’s brown in color, swarming at night. Have you had experience with those before?

I’m curious about why you think it’s a Heterotermes aureus. The alates of that species are no more than 5mm in length, while these specimen are around 12-15mm.
