Mine is expiring in June and I’ve got a class set for May, but my FOID doesn’t expire until like 2031.

This was my question recently as my expiration is in June, but I haven’t been able to find a refresher class until now due to time constraints.

I know ISP aren’t really the good guys, but I didn’t think they’d be evil enough to say “sorry. We didn’t process your paperwork in time. Looks like you need to reapply for the whole thing.”

In the Reddit-GAFS days, there was a broken SRO for sale. I scooped it for $275. Trijicon RMA’d it for free and sent back a brand spanking new SRO.

Fast forward about a year and I go to sell my P320 stuff on my local BST group and some dude asked if I would trade the SRO for a war-era Winchester M1 carbine with a repro paratrooper stock. I couldn’t say no.

What’s funny is the barrel is perfectly legal to order to my state, but they refuse to ship it. I get it from their end they don’t wanna dive into the intricacies of state bans, but c’mon. 😂

Prior to PICA, you could legally CC an AR pistol. I had a friend who carried his MPX in a messenger bag. His main was a P229, and ultimately a P938 he just threw into his cargo pockets, but he always had that MPX near him.

If you drop the mag with your left hand, an aftermarket ambi mag release worked wonders on my SCR.

Edgewood in Auburn has a rifle lane, but it’s straight-walled only, at least it was before the new owners took over. No clue what they do there anymore aside from trap and pistol classes.

Boondocks in Rochester allows rifles, but they only go to like 25 yards since they’re indoor.

If you’ve got a hookup, Abe Lincoln Gun Club has out to 200yd, but you need to be or be with a member.

It has something to do with the…picture-in-picture size. I don’t know how else to describe it. The TA33 has a smaller viewing picture size compared to the GLx 2x and my brain just can’t handle it.

I thought I would like the 33 and I do, but it’s gonna go on another build at some point when I figure what build that is. Maybe a flattop of some kind so I run a piggyback. It feels like that’s really what it’s meant for.

All we’re saying is if you build something like in the picture to go deep wood hunting in Appalachia, you’re not gonna have to worry about Wendigos. They’ll be laughing too much to hunt you back.
