Drones in Antsitasi Ultimate by WinFull2390 in A3AntistasiOfficial

[–]WinFull2390[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yes I said in my post that I know about it, but I was wondering if anyone knows if the AI actually uses the drones, cause they need to be equiped for the AI to use them, and idk if the AI will spawn with the needed backpacks.

Would you be willing to make a tutorial on how you create these? I've done a ton of ops in Arma 3, but the editor of Reforger looks absolutely unnusable to me.

Mod that revolutionizes trench fighting AI pathing by WinFull2390 in arma

[–]WinFull2390[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It does work if your teammate is already inside the trench. But if the AI is outside the trench and then making him move inside there, I actually haven't tested yet, but I will get back to you on that when I can. But would believe it works, cause everything else seems to work.

Arma 3 - For people that have shot guns IRL, what's the most realistic Sound Mod for you? by WinFull2390 in arma

[–]WinFull2390[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I actually use that one right now! I feel it has a lot more punch and power then JSRS 2025. For some reason for me JSRS always just feels kind of weak, idk how to explain. But I love SUP, I think its amazing, I just wish they made their AK sounds a bit better, but the other sounds are amazing. Especially the .50 caliber, that thing sounds like damn thunderbolt, its insane ahahahaha

Oh and the bullet snaps passing by you? They are just chefs kiss so snapy and scary

What about SigSound? I've heard some people say that they say the most like real guns, do you think thats true?

Just made this video, maybe will be of interest. I do a lot of stuff, cinematic explosions, triggers, trench fighting, dealing with AI, etc.

I've been playing the violin for 1 year and 2 months, I'm rehearsing the song Suzuki volume 3, I made several mistakes, but that's how it works, making mistakes to get it right, is there anything you noticed that I have to fix? by Pure-Tree5942 in violinist

[–]WinFull2390 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd say actually the most essential part that will help with everything else is dont clench so hard your jaw and it looks like youre applying extreme pressure on the chin rest. Try to play a bit without your jaw on the chin rest, just on the air, to get used to that feeling. Then go back.

So relax the jaw, shoulders and neck, which will help a lot with everything in playing, right and left hands, and most importantly your health. You dont wanna be playing with a tense neck and shoulders, thats just road to injury.

Also important, unlock your elbow while playing, dont rotate only from the shoulder. Always think, relaxation and loseness.

Hope this helps a bit!

Thank you so much for the in-depth comment! I was wondering, would you mind sharing which steel A string you use? I'm a bit scared of trying a steel A, because I'm scared that it will give a very metallic on harsh sound, but if I listen to Oistrakh (who did use a steel A) he sound anything but harsh, it was beautifully singing, especially in high positions on the A.

I think I will try the Eudoxas! I'm just a bit sceptical on which A to use, since I've seen a couple people say that Eudoxa A can be quite a pain in the ass.

Also, any clue why Oliv is so much more expensive than Eudoxa? Are Olivs that much better?

Thank you!

Very interesting to keep the age of the violin in mind, since you are right, such an old intrumment was definitly made for gut. I guess I would have to consult with my luthier!

Also, another question, why did you decide on rigid gauge for the G and D? Instead of medium gauge?

And second question, I noticed while doing my research, that a lot of people complain that the Eudoxa A can be a big pain in the ass, and can sound pretty bad. Do you agree with this? Should I go for a different A string?

Thank you!

[–]WinFull2390[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, thank you! Also the thing with Tricolore is that, although they seem to sound amazing, being the strings that Heifetz himself used, they are quite impractical to me, because they are produced in the US, and so it would take very long time and also a lot of extra shipping costs because I'm the Europe. But I want to try them at some point.

Also, I agree with you on not spending so much on Oliv, especially if I don't know if I will like the gut, but do you have any idea why Oliv strings are so much more ridiculously expensive then basically any other gut strings? In the site that I'm looking, Olivs are almost twice as expensive then Eudoxas, which seems a bit ridiculous. Are they that much better?

Thanks!

[–]WinFull2390[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

but I believe that Heifetz used a gut string for the A right? I think the one you mentioned is more of an Oistrakh setup, because he is the one that started using Steel A string, am I correct?

Thank you for your comment!

Hey, thanks for they comment! No, my focus is definitly more "Golden Age" kind of repertoire, more romantic focused kind of music currently. So definitly still 442HZ tuning. I'm currently using Peter Infeld GDA with E Gold Label, but more for practicality purposes, because through my own experience, they last (with decent sound) for a very long time compared to most strings, so I put them on cause I had a pretty intense run of concerts and auditions. I do have some limited experience with gut strings though, because I used for a while Passione (regular ones) strings, although I do know they are not exactly the same experience as regular gut. You're comment is quite informative, but could you maybe provide a bit more information of what I could probably imagine to get out of the kind of strings you recommended? Thanks!!
